So they kept roleplaying as if their character never died.
Couldn't they get in trouble.

No. They waited Gold's 48 hour period, and then made new characters. They just never posted in the Afterlife

So how does this clan changing process work?
If I do that I dont have to start over with my Orochimaru themed character correct? I mean I do keep all of my aquired CP but I just switch?....

You change clans, to any available clan. And then just post that it's a clan change in profiles, with a new profile made up. And then in Training Completion you can take all clan based jutsu, and trade them for the new clan's jutsu. Just make the whole profile a new, and post the old one as well. I'll add it up once you're done, and I looked it over.
