I was on facebook just now and I seen an add that Said "Why AFI went Vegan" of course not knowing what it was I was curious and clicked it...turns out it was a slaughter video about how pigs survive in a meat factory.
Let's play a game...
Did you know? That mother pigs can get open wounds from rubbing against the metal bars all day; in which, entitles infections and disease to infiltrate their skin and become hazardous?
Did you know? That little piglets get their testicals and tails ripped and cut from their bodies without any correct sugrey.
Did you know? That when pigs become ill they're either hung with a forklift until dead or if tiny enough slammed against the ground until their skulls crack open.
Did you know? Adult pigs are hung upside down with their throats cut open to let the blood drain as they squeel in pain and agony.
Did you know? Milk is really an amount of PUS, along with bacteria and other harmful diseases that could kill a person.
www.Peta2.com join and stop the slaughtering and the MURDER of animals.
Question 1: I did not. I don't agree with pigs being treated in this manner, but, in respect to the meat: you cook the meat, therefore the meat shouldn't be hazardous.
Q2: That practice isn't new buddy. The castration of farm animals has been done this way for a very... very... long time.
Q3: Again, I don't support the practice of animal maltreatment. I'm pretty sure measures are being taken to right that wrong.
Q4: Again, another age old process. That's simply how you bleed out an animal. However, I doubt that the animal is alive and screaming while they bleed it out. Think about it. It's much eater to hang up a dead animal than a live thrashing one.
Q5: Yep, Milk, straight from a cow, does have a ton of bacteria and junk in it. Pus included. But hey, that's where pasteurization comes in. Those contaminants aren't even hazardous on our end. That besides, the contaminants in the original milk arent a heavy amount, or else it wouldn't be milk, would it?
Btw, Peta isn't a good organization. Occasionally, they're right, like about animal cruelty. Who wants that?
However, they're wrong about a lot of other things. They over-dramatize certain aspects of the meat and dairy food industry to make it scary/gory/disgusting to persuade people to think their way.
Alright a serious lowdown for a moment here (hate to do this but I've few choices left).
Basically I've been struggling to get by for some time now, however now with my registration, insurance, a broken part in my car, my smog check, school fee's and everything else hitting me at once I've come to the point where if I don't come up with some money fast I'll be living out of my car. That said if there is anything I can do for donations (not taking hand outs, instead I'll grant reasonable DD's, art, or whatever else you can think of) I'd be more than happy to. I've been seeking a third job but to no luck yet, I've skipped registering for classes halting my education simply to save enough money to keep living but within less than a month if I don't come up with at least enough to get this registration/smog/repair done (around 500 dollars >.<) then I'm screwed. I've been taking any extra hours I can at work and selling off some of my old consoles and other possessions but every little bit helps. The reason I focus on the car so much is I live on a large hill so I can't get to work unless I can drive, if I don't get the repair/smog done soon I can't register it, and if I don't renew the registration I can't drive it = no work = absolutely no pay for food/rent/ etc and with only 60 left in my savings... yeah a bit screwed.
So I ask, is there anything anyone wants to see put up as a dd or art, or any other service you might be willing to lend extra cash towards. If not that's perfectly fine, I'm sure I'll find the money somehow, just trying to get it together as quick as possible and this should help occupy the other time I'm not out at work or sleeping XP

Well I had already intended on buying two DDItems for Ishuumaru. I was originally going to wait until I got my art in before I got started. However, now that situations are more dire I supposed I could go ahead and buy them. Very well, to what E-mail do I need to make out my PayPal for?

dark-bunny-lord@hotmail.com I can't thank you enough for lending a hand.
I'll make sure to do some sort of big thank you art piece to anyone that does help out once/if I get this all resolved.
Im sure that a lot of people would be happy to donate for duel blood lines if those were available again. I will check my account and see if I have any money to spare, if I do then ill donate for some art : D (DBL art ftw?)

Duel bloodlines for the remainder of this month it is then. Though these will be $10 as they're a bit more "perma" effecting attributes.
