A small thump came from the stair way as Kari tottered down the stairs. Her long dark hair still a little messy from her sleep. She rubbed her soft amber eyes, quite oblivious to what was happening below.
Her long white nightgown like dress dragged on the floor behind her as she continued down the stair.
"What's going on....." came her sleepy mumble

The lightning dissapeared and Nexum landed in his hand. They looked into eachother's eyes and Nexum flew away with a nod.

He steps back and lowers his wings, he wouldnt relax though. in case something would happen he was there.

With a few blinks she looks at the few people in the room. Feeling tension she slides into the room quietly, only the soft sound of bare feet padding the floor would be heard.
"Is everything alright here?" Her gentle voice seemed to be trying to release the tension.

She relaxed a bit more, seeing Nexum go to David. It seemed that there was some sort of understanding between them. Lowering her arms and her barrier, she did no take her gaze from his. Tilting her head, she wondered if he was more his self she knew best. "David?" she asked hesitantly. A moment later Nexum hovered over Ziven before landing solidly on her shoulder.

Nexum silently told her what was needed to get David back to normal, then completly seal the darkness within him untill needed for battle.

Raven quickly came from the shadows, hugging Ryan tightly. "I felt your power. What's going on?" Looking around she felt everyone's auras. David's aura felt different.

She tilted her head, looking to the phoenix with a questioning, yet submissive expression. "Yes, I understand. Thank you, friend." she said to Nexum, who then flew from her shoulder, returning to the rafters above, illuminating the darkness around him.
Taking a few confident strides toward David, she looked to him with a smile, her expression kind and inviting. Raising a hand, she gently touched the side of his face. She spoke reassuring words to him in the ancient language, telling him that she was his friend, and she wanted him to be well. After she spoke, she moved closer to him, much closer, giving him a very friendly embrace. She waited a moment to make sure she had his attention before tilting her head, placing her lips on his. Though there was passion behind the kiss, her thoughts were on but two subjects; Reeve and returning David's health. Pausing, she looked to David, hoping that this was doing what Nexum indicated.

He looked at raven. His eyes tainted black. only showing for a second before he turned away. His wings returned into his back. and when he looked back his eyes were gold again. He smiled at her abit the shook his head. "no.. just a close call.." He was different. His energy wasnt that of ryan, or loki. Similar to either yet stronger then both.

She blinked looking at the room of people. What was going on?!
Confused she sunk into a chair near the stairs staring at the scene before her.

Raven hugged Ryan again. Her hand goes through his hair. "Care to tell what happened while you were gone dear?" Raven nuzzles into his neck. Taking in his lost scent, she missed his touch.

David's dark side, shocked at Ziven's actions, lowered it's guard enough to let David's light side regain controll. He held on to her, his posture changing from that of an overconfident powerhouse to that of a compassionat lover(only way i can describe it...). His body also returned to normal, and his energy shifted to that of light. He whispered only lound enough for Ziven to hear, "Nexum told you what comes next, right? I promise it won't hurt."

"Indeed." she replied, equally soft in tone. "You must hurry, I am still affected by dark and light as always." she said before closing her eyes and tilting her hed, exposing her neck.
Across the room, she realized she had neglected her friend. "My apologies Miss Kari. David is unwell. I am following instructions from Nexum, the phoenix who is resting in the rafters."
