Try to stop me* Ali spoke with a mischievous smirk as he walked over to the bar and found himself a seat, taking off the sunglasses and placing them onto the counter before he reached over and dug up a vodka bottle and glasses. filling them both up and sliding one of the to the area infront of the next seat.*

Arching a brow, she watched his movements, trying to read his body language. After a moment, she decided he was not serious about wanting her to stop him, it was not a challenge like the others. With a slight giggle, she smiled and nodded. "I would not dream of it." she said softly. Considering what he just poured for her, she hesitantly took the glass and sipped it, pulling a face at its taste. "This is .. what is this?"

Alcohol, vodka to be exact. Russian brew, great to warm yourself up and make you content.* Ali smiled as he saw her face, not her taste it seemed. Oh well, Ali didn't mind as he drank the glass in one gulp.*

She laughed, it sure did feel like it warmed her up though she knew that simply alchohol could not do that on it's own. Tilting her head, she wondered why he liked the burning. "There are varieties that do not burn as you drink .. do you not enjoy those?"

Taste is different from person to person, I prefer the burning sensation while you seem to enjoy milkshakes more.* Ali snickered a little after his words, patting her head. Ali was somewhat of a masochist, he liked pain and the immense pain tolerance he had ensured that when someone hurt him they put everything they had an more into each attack. Chained up and being whipped wasn't Ali's style, much more fun to fight and get hurt in the progress.* I guess you can say I'm Yin and you're Yang

When he spoke of milkshakes, she did not know what that was and nearly spit out what she was drinking at the moment. "Milk gets .. foamy when shaken. Why on earth would anyone enjoy that?" she asked honestly, not understanding how anyone would believe that would be enjoyable.

* Ali simply starred at her for a few silent moments, then starting to laugh loudly. Was she serious, had she never tried even a milkshake? And here Ali thought most children had at least heard or tasted milkshake, such wasted youth.* You seem more and more sheltered in your past every time I talk to you.

When he laughed and then spoke, her cheeks went crimson. Yes, it was true that she lead a rather sheltered life but when living with all magic folk her whole life, there were many nuances of every day life for peoples who did not use magic that she did not know about. "There is much to know, most of which people gain through experience. I was raised with magic, not with technology. The people I was with both in my youth and in recent years simply did not use or have much of what was used by those driven by technology, there are many inventions and creations in all paths of life that I have yet to learn. Please, instead of laughing, help me to understand. It is terribly awkward and usually makes me feel bad when people react in this manner. N-not that I am complaining, it simply is not enjoyable for me." she said softly, looking to her drink. After a moment, she inhaled deeply. When she exhaned her clothes changed, she was obviously awake enough to realize that she was still in her jammies now and wanted to be dressed for the day instead.

Even so, what is the point in knowing magic and such unless you know of life. * Ali poured himself another drink and took a small sip of it, he wasn't that much older then Ziven yet he had worked himself up from a beggar, was a licensed priest and doctor as well as had experiences in leading others. He knew magic and enough technology to repair and understand electronics and other machines. Despite it all he had also had a lot of fun in his younger days.* But I understand what you mean, It's just that you are the most sheltered girl I've ever met and probably will.

"Ok." she said softly, still looking down at her cup still. Not knowing what to say, she remained silent. There was no denying she was sheltered, but the way he said it just now made it sound like a very bad thing. She never had seen it as being bad, just .. sheltered, she had a lot to learn.

"Ok." she said softly, watching him leave. With a slight sigh, she too left, disappearing with a small pop.

Raven walks up from Crow's dungeon fed up with Zyler. Seeing Ryan, she walked to him and smiled softly. "Hello Ryan.." She hugged him tightly. "I missed you dearly."
