Yeah, go for it.
Okay, so I'm thinking of a short story contest.
Also, I'm in the midst of developing a Colosseum Lightsaber battle.
The only problem is, it'd be very, very systematic and weary.
Example- Three person match: Persons, A, B, C.
Basic action is Move:
In order to do anything, A must move to B.
B can then Move or Confront A.
If he chooses Confront, he has the following options: Ally or Attack.
B chooses Ally.
A must then Accept.
If A accepts, than they are allied.
let's say, A moves to C.
B moves to C as well.
C decides to Defend.
A attacks C.
*dice roll stuff that is undeveloped*
B Betrays A.
etc.
If anyone likes this, I can continue developing the point system, for Health, Offense, Defense and all that stuff.

Yeah.
I was thinking like, anyone can enter for like.. 500 g.
That's a fair amount I think. All proceeds benefit us, anyways.
Anyways, there would be a panel of 3 judges, plus an honor judge.
This way, even the judges can enter if they want.
In a normal case, the three judges would collaborate and accept or reject it into the next round which would be like, two weeks later?
The honor judge would take the place of a judge who is submitting an entry.

50g would be more appealing. Especially if there are no prizes up for grabs.
And four judges just seems.... too many. I mean like, I'd prefer to have as many entries as possible, since so few really do sign up for these things.

I kind of want to be Judge, so that everyone else can therefore get a chance to write.
Winner gets.... free avatar edit of their choice within tolerable limits? Second place gets.... 100 g? And Third... 50g?

hell I have money. I'd enter one just to see how it stacks with the rest of the guild's entries.

Well, 50 g is much easier parted by parties who are unsure of their work that may actually want to win.
I mean, it probably won't be a large turnout anyway. get to work on yours as soon as you can, so you can submit as soon as you can.
I probably will put a word limit to it though. or page limit, probably.
Plus, the store brought in at least.... 7k gold, if i rightly remember. more if ND had less work to do on his end. So a fundraiser isn't exactly what we need.

I dont' think rank should play a part in it.
If anything, it should be someone of lower rank than moff judging, so that we don't play favorites.
