Yes that is exactly what I mean, they refer to their boat as she always. Betsy is the classic gun name, and Matilda I think from The League of Extroardinary Gentlemen.

I only named two things. and that was my dragon shaped bowie knife, I called Draco. and I had a katana, till I was forced to give it up for fear I may hurt my brother with it, and I called it Raistlin.

I usually name inanimate objects because for some odd reason, I believe they have a soul. I think I'll call it Mini-Macally since my old mouse was called Macally.
I also named my Gameboy "The Scarlet Pimpernel" because it's a nice, shiny shade of red.
