It wasn't long before he spotted Miasma in the crowd, and couldn't help but jacking grin at her stopping and staring at her phone.
Mission accomplished. Of course he hadn't properly spelled the word out, he wanted to troll. Of course, she looked like she hadn't realized that.
If he was serious, he would have spelled out the whole word. But simply texting "ILU" was very informal. It was a good thing he'd deleted the text.
Making his way to where Miasma was, Etzer smiled and grasped her arm. "Miss... Mia?" Was that what she wanted to be called? "Miasma?" Jack, he didn't know if she went by her full name or a nickname. "Are... you alright?"
Yes, Etzer was a Bad Man.

The kiss was thorough, fierce, and over much too quickly. She was still quite limp in the knees when he drew away from her again and left her pouting up at him. It left her completely at his mercy, dancing wise, but for just that moment she didn't care. Meeting his eyes, she smirked up at him as he called her naughty, clearly proud of herself for her trickery. "Me? Never." By the time he spun her she'd gotten control of her legs again, and she made the movement graceful, faltering back into old habits of reaching arms and arching backs. It was all second nature, which was covenant, as all her attention was on Marosa and the soft brush of his fingers along her cheek before before his palm came to settle there. She heard the subtle worry in his voice as speculated on whether or not she was growing dependent upon his touch, and for just a moment her features softened. "I did it so you would forget where you were so you could enjoy yourself." Which wasn't a denial, but if she was growing addicted she wasn't aware of it.

Hearing her name brought her attention away from the text, and she looked around, wondering who had called her. Most of the people she knew called her by her nickname, so if they called her by her full name...
She caught sight of an ice demon. A familiar ice demon. "... Etzer?" The eyephone was pocketed away, and she slapped her cheeks lightly, trying to make the colour fade.
"A-ah, yes... do you... know where Molan is?"

LIVE BAND: The Rat Pack The stage had been reset, Enzo's upright bass, The Boss, standing on it's own as the animate object began to thrum a low beat. The Reaper had set Joachim up with everything the man would need, a trumpet, a spit rag, and a peculiar little box wired up with devices pillaged from the Radio Club's AV room. Inside was a tiny bandstand, on which were over a dozen little rodents all waiting their red-headed conductor's queue to begin. " Congratulations once again, Prom Court!" Enzo stepped out into the spotlight as the lights shifted, giving a polite applause and tip of his hat, tapping his foot as The Boss picked up tempo. " We got a little treat for you later this evenin', but first, let's slow things down and jazz it up a little-" He gestured for Joachim to begin the band, and the mice in the box (most likely terrified of getting eaten by The Boss) all raised their instruments and the usual tiny, minipet noise was sent through the wires and into the devices and out the amplifiers in a full Big Band Sound. " I just want to start off with a little story I wanna share, about a swell dame with a nasty problem..."

"Okay. Oi jus dinnae want anythin' tae happen to ye, is all." He knew he wouldn't forgive himself if something happened to her like it did with Muirin, but for now he shoved that thought away. She wanted him to enjoy himself? He would, and he would go to his room later to mull over things. Or in otherwords, sulk.
But this was prom, and they were supposed to have fun. After all, he wasn't a scareling anymore, had just passed to second year, more often as of late finding himself tired of treading on toes. It still bugged him that he couldn't remember the trip to the feylands, and he was half tempted to ask others to go with him.
But no, that was something he had to do himself, and shoving that thought from his mind as well, Marosa reached up to let his hair down, the curls falling over his shoulders in a cascade. Hadiyya was helping him to let loose, and in a way, it was working. He already felt more at ease with her around, but it would take some time in general.
The faerie wrapped the hair tie around his wrist and gave Hadiyya an easy smile, stepping back to bow just slightly as the new music started. "Oi dinnae know many dance moves, so perhaps ye could teach me?" After all, he was here to learn, pleasure or not. Prom could be a valuable learning experience as well, right?
He tilted his head as he listened to the music, the smile unfading. "Aye, It's a rather nice song, as well."

"I'll lead you to him." Giving a bow to her, the frost demon took her hand and kissed the back of it with practiced gentlemanly style, taking her and leading her to his brother through the crowd. He kept a stoic face, though the corner of his lips twitched. He couldn't wait to see the interaction between the two now.
"I hope you didn't get too lost. Molan's been a bit worried about you." Of course, he didn't specify as to why. The frost demon glanced back, making sure she was still with him. "Crowd's a bit thick, but here we are!" He finally reached the wall where Molan was standing, reaching into his pocket and letting go of Miasma's hand as he walked over to his brother.
Etzer slid the phone into Molan's pocket, bumping into Molan as he did it so nothing would look out of place. Of course, he knew that Molan would figure it out and know better. Probably. Unless he was flustered at Miasma's blushing. "Whoops, 'scuse me." Scoffing at Molan, he leaned against the wall in a nonchalant manner, watching over the crowd... but keeping his eye on the two in front of them.Raja Here. Have your jackin' date.

Molan had been waiting, and actually ended up a bit worried. Perhaps he hadn't been clear enough in his directions? Miasma hadn't shown up, and... well it could also have been caused by Etzer. No, he wouldn't have done something... right?
Right?
He was asking himself that a lot lately. Oh well it should be fine an- there was Etzer. With Mia. And she looked a bit... worked up about something? His brother seemed fine though, almost too happy. All things considered that might not be good. Still, it was better to think he might be able to trust his brother. Even if he might have just seen his mouth twitch into a smile there. Maybe. It was hard to tell. His attention fell more on the reaper, a bit concerned perhaps she had been angry, or maybe cross after not being able to find him or something? Who was to say. He offered a light smile to her and was about to speak up when his brother 'accidentally' bumped into him. Which did earn him something of an odd look, but at least saved him from noticing the replaced phone. "Why'd you run off with it anyway?" Was the only question that Etzer got in response, at least vague enough that Miasma wouldn't catch on. At least not for now.
Though then he did glance over briefly to smile again, completely oblivious as to what was wrong. For now. "Are you alright? Your face is a bit..?' Yeeup, not helping. Probably also not helping he was reaching out to take her hand and check on her. Nope.

When Etzer took her hand, she arched her eyebrows... which turned to a blush when he kissed the back of it. What... WHAT WAS HE DOING?
It was a good thing he had let go as he started leading her, or else she might have attempted to swat at him. Out of embarassment. Don't DO those kinds of things in public, people might get-
...what? She grew more confused at his words. Molan was... worried? If so, why would he give her faulty directions and say that he lo- Something wasn't falling into place here.
And then she saw Molan and let the thought drop, rushing over to the boil. "Molan, I-" ... wait, run off with what? What did Etzer do? She didn't have long to ponder this as Molan took her hand, inspecting it, and she flushed again. "I... I-"
She pulled her hand away and smacked him.
"Don't LIE to me like that, moving to the water fountain and-" Waitttttt.
Molan... hadn't actually been at the fountain. The one she saw was her brother, and... now that she thought about it, he wouldn't have sent that kind of text if he was worried, not to mention it was improper lingo, and...
She turned her head, giving Etzer a suspicious look.

"You really should have danced with me," Etzer muttered, raising an eyebrow as he leaned against the wall, crossing his arms as he stifled a yawn. His boilfriend was still missing.
"Take what? I don't have anything. But do you know where the punch bowl is? Maybe I could grab some cups for us." He glanced to Miasma, slouching against the wall.
"... yes? I thought Molan was your date? Shouldn't you be eyeing him instead of me?" The frost demon was a bit put out, especially when his brother wouldn't dance with him. The night could have been amazing, but no, stupid Molan just had to use his glower power.

This was still about that stupid contest? "That would have been ridiculous." Seriously, Etzer had already thrown him in the air for a silly dance thing. One stupid act was enough for a short period of time. "Wait, you're stilling going on about that?" He added, tilting his head a bit at his brother. He was going to hold a grudge over that? Really?
"My phone. You ran off with it after I told Mia where I was." He replied fairly plainly, pausing to hold out a hand expecting it back. "Return it before you get that then, though I believe it's over that way." He added, gesturing to one side of the tent before going back to holding his hand out expectantly.
Phone. Give it.
Sadly, he didn't have long to worry about the phone. Nope. Because worrying over Mia only earned him his arm being smacked away rather soundly. And for the record, yes, she did have a bit of a nasty backhand. That little mallet with a bell didn't lie. But that only served to leave him looking a bit like a kicked puppy as his ears fell and confusion shown through. "I- I never went to the fountain... I stayed here because I said I was here in the text." So she was angry? Had he done something? And why was she looking at Etzer like that? He glanced between the ghoul and his brother at that point. Sadly, the comment his brother made wasn't helping. Nope, actually Molan looked all the more confused. Mia was angry with him and now just staring at Etzer. Albeit, she didn't seem exactly happy about it, but..
Had he missed something?Kanth Yea... probably run soon. [A.V.] How long till we clear it up? Or do I let to have him get depressed again? /shot

Shaheen blushing. Well then. Perhaps he ought to try this "poetry" thing more if it meant throwing her off guard. "Feel pity for their blue horned gnome of a leader," he suggested. "He is too small to command such a force, let alone handle himself in a battle." Clearly.
He only raised a brow towards the other ghoul (perhaps a bit jealous she got to burn things this night, as fire was quite fun) before turning his gaze back to the chieftain. "Now that the music has changed, I suggest we take advantage of it," Shik said simply, offering his hand and trying to look as neutral about it as possible.
Maybe he did want to shake a tailfeather.

If Riley was phased by the topic of conversation, or even amused, she gave no notice of it. She simply looked like she was enjoying their dance very much, as she shook her head.
I understand. But I presume a male of your species might take my opinion on it. As it stands, And only here, did Riley's face finally change, into something loosely expressed as absolute smugness. Both are highly fascinating. Especially together.
Hel was cheeky, and shameless. She liked that. And she was happy to return the favor.

Mmur waved his paw again as Na'ima approached. With all of his escorts in one place once more, he decided to risk a potentially deadly fall rather than lie around any longer. He stood, resting his other hand on Jing's horn to steady himself. Wait... hand? The horseman stared at his tiny furry arm as it began to turn fleshy again, and before he could squeak out a warning, Mmur had returned to stallion size in a poof of... were those sparkles? He went crashing to the ground, dragging the other horseman down with him. At least he was dressed again. "H... hello," he said sheepishly, slowly pushing himself to his feet and offering a hand to Jing. "That was certainly interesting."

[[Entering]] Tomoko peered around the tent curiously upon stepping in, Erebus in tow. "Looks like we just missed something..." she noted quietly. Not that the Prom-royalty announcements ever meant anything to her (except she would have loved to congratulate Jove for being Prince).

Suddenly everything started making sense. So the one who has texted her was... She wrapped her arms around Molan's while glowering at Etzer.
"You know, it's quite rude to toy with a ghoul's feelings like that." There was a faint glow to her eyes while she seemed to emit bits of purple mist. Even the butterflies seemed more frantic than usual. Needless to say, the ghoul was pissed.
