 The fish made a sad face, perhaps Christof wasn't exactly to it's taste. Turning slowly it looked someone who might make a nice chaser...or wait this one looked well-dressed! For a moment the fish hunched in on itself and the sprang into the air in graceful arc, and gulped up Riyo as it landed. Riyo has been eaten! Everyone has received -3 damage from Beautiful Dive Damage! This fish is looking full, it's gluttonous ways have left it open for another round of attacks. BOSS HP:44/100

Despite his prior failure to land a hit on the fish Bul was determined to keep on his feet. Maybe he wasn't /THE BEST/ swimmer but he was tough to take down and a little current wasn't going to stop this spikey lizard.
Attempting to leap at the fishes backside, he swung his claws left and right.
"GET OUT THE NAPKINS AND s**t WE'RE GONNA HAVE OURSELVES SOME DINNER!"
He shouted once in human form again flying off the fish's back.

Natalia heard Mort's grunts and groans, and turned slightly in the water as if to make an advance his way. As he B-Lined elsewhere, she hesitated in her approach, turned and noticed more students were being swallowed.
This had to stop. Flailing in the water just as the others were, Natalia attempted another attack...
Pretty much flicking the fishes side.

Tybalt yelped when the fish attacked again, knocking him back into the water, where he struggled back to the surface. How many were dissipating? If this kept up they were really going to lose...
"Jack damn this fish!" he snarled, tearing at it once more with his teeth.

As Mitsu had predicted the fish wasn't done. Far from it and as she looked back the fish had made a rather artful leap into the air only to come down on Riyo. Once the backlash of the water receded the cat demon was gone. It....It had just eaten Riyo much like it had consumed the other two students.
"Riyo!" Now more than determined than ever Mitsu swam through the water (whether Shun held on was up to him) and snapped at the fish. "Let them go!"
HP: 11-3=8

Another person was gone, an undead this time (no real loss) but Savior was getting kind of sad that people were being eaten. Was it fun to be in the fish, would Savior be allowed in there eventually?
The monster kicked at the fish-monster, being somewhat gentle since she didn't want to stab anything inside it.

Ren was not happy.
He let LW down to retrieve Jove, but then soared off, his beak opening and a mix of low, mumbled words escaping. Wind soared in great arcs around his body and towards the stupid creature, but Ren's head was still aching and his aim was off, missing the creature entirely.

Jack damn--everyone was getting killed! Gritting her teeth, she glanced over to LW, relieved to see that she at least recovered. Tybalt, appeared to be struggling. Taking a moment, she moved over to the black dog's side and smeared her blood over the worst of his wounds. "Don't you dare die, you mutt!"

Whoa, okay, now another student had just gotten swallowed and Toby was absolutely not cool for that. Passive though she was, this just wasn't acceptable, and as one of those enormous fins passed by her, she actually worked up the gall to snag at it with her tail hook, knowing that it was perhaps rather disrespectful to break her attention (even briefly) from poor Mort, but... really? Come on, this was getting ridiculous!
HP: 19 - 3 = 16/30
Damage done: 3!

Paddling along like a puppy in water (HE DID NOT LIKE WATER) Remi pretty much paddled around awkwardly.. trying to avoid bumping into people, and avoid the fish. He stuck a paw out in a attempt to claw the fish as it passed by, but to no avail... all he got in return was a face full of water. HP: 14 Battle Status: Attacking BOSS HP: 28 (i think!)

Deep in the belly of the beast, Christof was not happy. It wasn't until a fresh splash of water accompanied by a bedraggled cat-ghoul fall into his lap that he finally HAD ENOUGH. With a snarl, he grabbed a hold of a rib, clawed hand rippling with Fear prickling thorns and scales. He could hold on inside the belly no problem, but he didn't know about the other non-undead inhabitants of the fish's innards had the benefit of not needing to breath. First he punched it's spleen. Then he ripped at it's fishy liver. Finally, fear prickling over his arm, he grabbed a hold of the damn thing's heart, claws extending to slice cleanly through. There would be sushi tonight. Enough for everyone. Just keep punching until he saw daylight....  HP: 9

And just like that Riyo was eaten too, sending a wave of water over everyone. Choking on the fluid, Shun coughed several times before looking up towards the fish. Because of this, he wasn't really able to pick up on Mitsu's little lie on her well being.
It was now that he realized they had a few missing people among the attackers.
"Kuso..."
Their allies were getting killed. He was not going to die here if he could help it. Nor was he going to let Mitsu be finished off... if possible.
As the wolf charged for the fish, the Reaper shifted his weight and tried to sling himself onto her back. It wasn't easy. In fact because he was in the water, he basically just crawled his way on and almost falling off in the process. Not quite nearly as badass looking as it could have been.
Though once seated, he prepared to stab into the fish once they were close.

You know that thing about his hand not letting go if he could help it? It still came into play when Riyo was snatched up. She took the souvenir with her upon being swallowed.
Once again, Mort had lost a hand.
He stood there with a blank stare on his face as the Beautiful Dive damage came upon him. His legs were so weak, he was amazed he could stand up.
By the time the horse came up, he looked ready to pass out. It was only when, blindly, he touched her shoulder that the zombie jolted back into reality.
The fish had taken his hand.
The fish was going to give it back.
. . . Oh, and the students too.
"Ride, yes," Mortimer said, and without further ado clambered up and onto her back. "T-Today, we save friends. Together."
Did it matter that Mort didn't know her? Nope. Because clearly soon, they were going to know each other very well.
He touched her hair gently in thanks, and then quickly scrounged the pill out of his pockets - it went down in one gulp, the burst of energy making him sit up straight.
"Y-You, um, r-ready?" he asked, eyeing the minipet who was also hitching a ride.

... And now, it seemed she did, indeed, have a rider.
Thankfully Iris was quite obliging to scoot over and scrabble back towards her tail as Toby shifted to let the zombie up, a surprisingly amicable steed for someone who was technically his peer. That done, the falsicorn tried her best to stand as tall as she could, bracing against the waves, with at least some renewed sense of purpose to keep her going.
To onlookers, though, the site of a zombie and sparkly scareon riding a mutated unicorn probably looked... well, special.
Good thing she wasn't paying attention to any of that!
