Yawgmoth turned his head back straight up and down before responding to her. Crossing his arms over his chest to show that he was not in the most cherry of moods at her tone, he answered. "Really? Because from the way you looked towards us it sure seemed you were interested. But we suppose this does not mean it was meant to be returned." Yawgmoth calmly listened to her name, and her story about when she'd last been around. The shadow avatar created by Yawgmoth's hatred for things huh? The tournament? My my she had missed quite a bit. "Well then, to answer your question about 'what's going on' you'll have be a little more specific about exactly what you want to know. Any particular person or group of people perhaps, will be enough to explain their current situation."

She yawned as she walked in. It had been a while since Kari had wandered around the main room. Her absence was unexplained but most likely not noted so she slipped into the room without worrying about questions.

Her long white dress dragged on the floor behind her, looking as if she was a little too short to be wearing it. Looking around it was easy to see that she was indeed quite a bit shorter then most people in the room. Her petite figure could sometimes mislead people into thinking she was a horribly weak creature, and she was quite happy with letting people to continue thinking so.

*she climbs down stairs looking around for people in her home*

Who are you people? I have never seen you in my home before.......*she looks at the strangers like sharp knives her eyes pierced theirs*

She smiles and bows at the girl who nodded to her, she saw Yawgmoth and also bowed to him.

In a slight daze she continued to walk around the main room not really paying attention to anything in particular. Boy was she ever sleepy

She arched an eyebrow behind her shades at hearing someone refer to the bar as her home. As far as she knew, it was still just that. A bar. And the look she had made her sigh underneath her breathe. One in every crowd.

"Sorry, wasn't aware this was your place of residence. Last time I was here I had been offered a room and stayed here until I got my house set up, but unfortunately it's no longer there." She wondered why people couldn't just be polite. Kill people with kindness, usually worked for her before.

She noted the one who appeared to still be somewhat sleepy, smiling and hoping she'd be alright as she returned her attentions back to Yawgmoth. "I never said I tend to always make the right choice. I go where I'm needed, but luckily, like you said, it's been dull here. So it doesn't seem as if there's much of a reason for anyone to feel cornered, now does there?"

Yawgmoth nodded in response to Magik's statement "True enough for the time. But as with any place where there is constant underlying struggle, picking a side will come at one point or another. It is simply unavoidable in this place we believe. When the pressure from both sides comes to a head there is no true neutral anymore. But, no matter, even rambling about that now will do nothing since it is unlikely this will happen anytime soon." he said, turned just in time to see Ziven vanish. That was unusual, she must not've wanted to hear from him tonight. Oh well. Time for a drink he thought as Yawgmoth made a gesture with his hands signaling to magik that he did not intend to stop their conversation if she didn't wish to quit but that he was going to get a drink now.

Yawgmoth said not a word as Magik left. He was baffled by her throwing money at him. She was here when he said to Kurohito that everything was basically free but it was self service. Oh well, he shrugged and sat the money on the bartop for anyone who would want it. Yawgmoth was not of material things for the most part and of course, the fact that he was already rich enough to buy most of planet earth if they'd sell. The Phyrexian Empire brought in many fruits of its labors including profit. "And once again. The night grows boring." He said pulling a bottle of red wine from under the bar.
