He laughed as he shook the hand tighter, as he took the hand away and smiled "Well, good and evil to me, there is no boundary. I will cause no trouble, do not worry. Just make sure people stay out of my hair, and you should see nothing more than what you see now from me." He said with a bit of confidence in his voice as he patted the katana at his side.

"Your distaste for troublesome people is eerily similar to ours. We do not take kindly to annoying insects that scurry around and get on our nerves. So we believe that ourselves, and you will get along just fine so it would seem." Yawgmoth commented with a sly smile splitting his lips showing more of his teeth. Yawgmoth's teeth were odd, most of them were sharp ended like canines and two in the front could be considered 'fangs' but since he was not a vampire or any species like them they were like..ornamental than practical. "Do answer us one question though. We have only seen one other individual wield a weapon like yours. How proficient are you with it?" Yawgmoth inquired tilting his head in waiting for a response.

He looked down to his blade as he withdrew it from his side. Holding the lightly blue tinted blade up, he showed the katana to him in the light. "A katana, forged from Rokugani Steel. Made for slashing, piercing, and blocking. Unlike a longsword, the blade is only sharp on one side, which is a disadvantage to those who have never used them. I am very proficient with this weapon, as it has been my only weapon since I was 13 outside of a longbow." He held the weapon in one hand as he did some slashes in the air in front of him up and down.

Yawgmoth chuckled lightly as Kurohito displayed his weapon. "Truthfully, we detest the use of weapons. If we can avoid using them we will. We only use one ourselves, a dual sided battle axe made from the metal of our homeland. Nothing special about it, no magical enchantments, no special powers, simply a large dual bladed battle axe. A very large and very effective weapon provided one has the body and arms to wield such a large and heavy blade." Yawgmoth commented. Though he more liked axes because more often than not it was the weight of axe that would crush before the blade actually cut. Not to mention since Yawgmoth was rather huge in the upper body region he could easily maneuvar such a weapon negating the ax's only drawback of being slow and unwidely.

He appeared in one of the bar chairs in a burst of violet fire juggling two small colored balls of fire with one hand, speaking to himself* Things seem to be too quiet...let's hope this is the new RDS and now a quiet before the storm...
PostPosted: Sun Jul 22, 2007 5:43 pm

While juggling he missed the orange flame sphere causing it to bounce off the table and tumble to the ground, the fire rapidly extinguishing itself* Damn....I suck *He chuckled to himself and threw away the blue ball, it shared a fate with the orange one* I wonder...whatever happened to Mr. Angry who used to stalk the rafters here.... I guess I'll run into him soon enough. However, in the mean time I shall catch a quick nap. *Groaning, he forced himself up long enough to shuffle over to a couch. With the same grace of a falling tree he fell onto the cushioned furniture

Magik was simply settled down after procuring a drink, a slo gin and ginger ale as she busied herself with gnawing on the straw. She wanted a cigarette, but she really shouldn't be smoking. A bad habit she had picked up from some people she had hung out with as of late.

She caught sight of a liquid substance trailing down a column, her assault on the straw paused for now. Which must have looked odd. Her sitting there, chair tipped back with her feet on the chair opposite her leaning back and instead seeming more interested in the tube of plastic. But while she was thinking, she tended to do strange things sometimes. Seeing who it formed, she merely was glad she had taken the time to don her shades, Yawgmoth wasn't one she had gotten to speak with much and well, his reputation preceded him. It was better to blend into the background than attract undue attention.

What worried her was when he started coming nearer. Which caused her to tense even if she didn't move. Fighting that one really wasn't an option, was it? Not one she wanted to even consider. Although, he seemed to know how to dress and carry himself, he was still way too dangerous to even think about trying to hold a normal conversation with.

Her eyes turned hearing someone come in, instantly relieved when Yawgmoth changed his course. She decided to listen to see if anything had changed while she had been away, going back to stirring her drink. She arched an eyebrow at the call us part. And the we part. Far as she knew he was one person, although it reminded her too well of a Tzimisce vampire she had encountered who seemed to have mutli personality disorders of some kind. Hearing the man's question, she seemed to lower her gaze, shaking her head mentally. Then again, she had pretty much made the same mistake long ago herself.

Catching sight of Zero, she smiled, it was glad to know some good still lurked around. Although, much like the other gentleman, her idea of good or evil tended to vary anymore, she simply bowed her head in his direction, not sure if he would catch it, but it was better than appearing rude. She finished her drink and decided if she would perhaps stay and see what the night might bring or perhaps explore around and see what she could find out. She wasn't even sure what was going on there much anymore.

"The axe is a very good weapon, however, I have only used them for cutting wood, or other materials for building or fires." He nodded as he glanced over to the man throwing fire around and laughed to himself a bit. "Well, I know the place is going to be interesting. As for you Yawgmoth, what magiks sit under your skin?" He asked with an inquisitive (sp?) tone.

Yawgmoth's eyes too trailed over to Zero for a moment and caught sight of the girl again as she too was watching Zero. Yawgmoth got the sense that she wanted nothing to do with him, which meant of course that he would antagonize her as soon as he was done meeting Kurohito. His question though, took Yawgmoth by surprise. Seeing he was a man of weaponry judging by the equipment he carried he didn't expect a question of magics to come about. "Our powers stem from the elemental alignment of darkness and shadow magic. We are a complete master of said element so much so that, well here's an example. Say you were a being of darkness but not a master. Our control over the element is so great we could literally rip the darkness from you and take it for ourselves. So just what are we capable of? Well you'd just have to see for yourself." Yawgmoth said with a light shrug. There wasn't much else he could say. Darkness a very tricky element that lent its users very odd powers, all of which Yawgmoth possessed.

There was a slightly amused smile showing on her lips at the question the man had asked Yawgmoth and of course, Yawgmoth had given an answer that she figured he would have. Better to leave people guessing than to tell them truly what one was capable of. Least that way, they would wind up surprised during a altercation. Or a fight. Neither one she really wanted to be part of right now. Hence why she was staying off to one side, finishing an ice cube off, as she pushed her now empty glass aside.

She still wondered why he addressed himself as he had. Maybe some sort of merging of minds. Who knew what happened since the last time she had been there. She had served as a healer for a knight or a paladin, she believed. But that was at least a year ago, felt like forever. Could have at least been a few months. Time just continued onwards as it always did.

She put her chair back down on all four legs and merely leaned forward, debating on either ordering another drink or walking outside for abit of fresh air. Weapons discussions weren't really something she was interested in interjecting her own opinions into. She'd rather just observe for now. The newcomer seemed like he had a level head on his shoulders, which was even better news. And he seemed to be holding an alright conversation with Yawgmoth, she had to give him credit where it was due. Blonde hair fell down in front of her face as she started to check the fittings of her leather gloves, trying to keep busy and yet, keep an open sense of what was going on.

"Very interesting, almost like Maho and Taint from where I am from. You even exhibit the stereotypical physical issues of a Taint infested demon." He laughed as he relaxed himself and put his blade away. Reaching into his pocket, he withdrew a pipe and some tobacco leaves. He looked to Yawgmoth as he stuffed the pipe generously. "Mind if I smoke?"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 22, 2007 7:41 pm

Yawgmoth simply chuckled, trying not to laugh harder at Kurohito's blunt description of him though it was at least correct. "We assure we are not a demon despite our appearance. We are...quite unique in genetic structure. We can assume many forms but most are boring. We prefer this one, as does our wife." . In response to his second question Yawgmoth shrugged a little. "We might act like we own the place but we do not, it is not up to us so do indulge yourself if that is your wish." Yawgmoth replied. The sound of the chair hitting the floor again when the girl put it back down made Yawgmoth turn his head a little in her direction. Deciding it was time to provoke her some Yawgmoth asked. "You, woman. Why is it that you pay attention to us yet you say nothing? It is clear to us there is some interest coming from you. Do say what is on your mind. We haven't killed anyone for talking....in a long awhile anyway." Yawgmoth finished, his more sinister side began to show as he prodded the woman to join in their conversation whether she wanted to be a part of it or not. A small grin formed on his face which coupled with his crimson eyes proved to be a frightful expression.

Comparing Yawgmoth to a demon and still breathing, maybe things had calmed down after all. Although once the other man pulled out a pipe, she felt another craving for a cigarette, pausing at the pocket she kept a pack resting in, stopping when she heard him refer to her as "Woman." To which she only sighed inwardly. One, she liked being treated with respect when she gave it. And the first time they had met, well, it was tense, but she didn't remember getting any respect back then either.

For now, she withdrew the cigarette and placed it between her lips while she searched her pockets for her lucky lighter. "I like to listen, it's rude to interrupt and besides, you two were hitting it off so why should I simply just add myself to the conversation? And last I recall, there was alot of chaos last time I was here, just been traveling and figured I'd check back up on things."

She finally struck her lighter aflame, puffing for it to catch before she draped an arm over the back of her chair as she nodded over towards the two of them. "And you probably don't remember my name, but that's fine by me. Although, woman just...Miss maybe? Or perhaps something more polite? Besides, wouldn't want to break any streaks would I? I've been known to say the wrong thing at the worst possible time. So please, don't let me bother you, carry on. I'll just continue to relax and catch up on things, unless you wanted to fill me in on things? But I wasn't really going to ask that of you."

His crimson eyes didn't seem to bother her overly much, not when she had dealt with vampires, demons and the like recently. She was there to get a drink and see what was going on really. Why he would feel a need to intimidate anyone...well, that seemed to be his thing.

Yawgmoth had to laugh aloud at her for a moment, he thought she was afraid of him but here she was on a speech about a respectful pronoun was requested instead of the general term "woman". Some guts she had. Tilting his head for a moment Yawgmoth then responded. "We remember you yes, your name? No. The reason we were approaching you before Kurohito here came in was because we wanted to find out who you were and put a name to whom we recognized. Though it seems you are quite aware of who we are. It's not surprising anymore. We have become something of an infamous figure around the syndicate these days. But now, now woman you have our interest." he finished still opting to call her woman instead because he did not feel that as of yet she deserved any of his respect. "What is your name, and when was the last time you were here? We will explain everything to you. We have existed through it all so there is no better person to ask."

And therein lied the beginning of what she believed to be a power play. She could ignore it and play along, but that would be allowing him to believe that she would cower in fear. And maybe before, She very well might have. But she'd done alright for herself reguarding her dealing with people. But still, he was married to Crow, definately someone she would rather remain under the radar reguarding. She had heard and even met that one before. And well, being a friend of someone she didn't quite seem to get along with these days might prove another problem altogether.

"I actually never wanted your interest, Yawgmoth. I just wanted to come here, perhaps run into a friendly face or two and then find a place to crash for awhile." She exhaled the smoke she had been holding, knowing the nicotene had abit too much hold over her willpower to quit any time soon. And that bothered her a tad.

"My name is of no importance. My first name is Magik. And I was here back when there was a tournament of sorts. I remember something with a shadow being causing havoc. And I remember Aliator and yourself. It's been, well, too long to know how long it was. Last year sometime perhaps? Beginning of this year? Time just seems to become lost to me after awhile." She knew he had called her woman on purpose, so she opted to let him go on that note. After all, she didn't want any sort of trouble. He wouldn't view her as a threat, but she sure as heck didn't want him thinking he could walk all over her either.

She only stored away the amused laugh. Nodding as she weighed her options. "Sure, if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to have some idea of what's going on, because I do plan on staying around."
