Bobbing her head, she created a second cup of passion tea for Angel. "My pleasure." she said once the second cup had appeared. Now she slowly sipped her own tea, wanting to listen to their conversation.

It's good to hear everyone's doing ok. Dad always seems to be doing something ro other or thinking of something or worrying over this or that...it's going to give his gray hairs before his time! I wish you guys could come and vacation out in Amber again, you should see the portraits that have of you and Dad, they're so gorgeous! When Kai and Kaze grow up I'm sure they'll have pictures of their own up on that wall followed shortly by their younger siblings.

Her face grew hot with embarrassment. She took a sip of her tea to help wet her suddenly dry through* I know, I didn't mean it like that. I mean I know they're my brother and sister I just wasn't thinking...*Her eyes were downcast at the floor, inwardly cursing herself for making such a stupid error of speech.

Blinking, she was interested in hearing about their family. A small smile remained as she quietly sipped her tea and selected a sandwich to eat.

No, it's just I didn't want you to think that I don't think of them as part of my family because I do. I really truly do! I just can't believe I goofed up so badly. *She slowly let her gaze come up from the floor to meet her mother's* I'm happy to have a family now.
