This is where the idea falls apart.

If we did that with everything then everyone would get the attention of law enforcement, and there would be no point in having fun with anything happening. The point is that there is already security that deals with the stadium, as well as the security in Latent, and to make yourself part of that police force without even asking or working together with the people who made the thread is just going to screw everything up to high heaven.

Now, on the OTHER hand...

If you mean that you think there should be some sort of crime scene post mortem after all of the action is done in order to further the plot, then I'd suggest talking with Jello and working something out like that, so that someone can RP some other cop that Chen can talk to and further the storyline in that way.

To do that all by yourself would be hijacking, and you DO know there's something wrong with that. :/ I honestly think you're just trying to humor the idea by having us react to it, Vin. I know you better than this.

In fact, it'd be a much better story idea if you and Jello worked something out where Chen tried to get more info out of the police and security handling the stadium, only to see something was being held back. That'd be something useful to tell...hmm...I don't know...ME. TENKAI. YOUR PARTNER.

Besides the private company that handles security for the stadium, the stadium itself, if you want to get very technical with your laws, is under Military jurisdiction.

I believe, that if players wishing to play members of the GPD want to attempt to begin performing investigations into the happenings of places within the guild's Gaian world, they need to establish their own GPD department within the guild and work out jurisdiction issues with the guild moderators before doing so.
