So hey, I got a job. My first day of work is tomorrow.
... at Dollar General.
That's right: I switched from Dollar Tree to Dollar General. From one shitty dollar store to another shitty dollar store.
I'm really moving on up in the world. >_>
Good news: Dollar General has tile flooring and air conditioning, so I already know it's better than Dollar Tree. Though that really isn't saying much.

Foam-Dome That's wonderful! 8D (And also incredibly adorable!) See? I knew you two would hit it off! :'D Haha, your optimism counters my pessimism. Jedi: A job is a job, lol. But in the mean time you could try looking for a better job. I just envy you and your employment.

I hate it when my mom gets like thiiiiis
I like to watch TV in the morning before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays because I go in later and actually have a little bit of time to just relax and hang out. I don't just sit there and stare at the TV, though. I've been working on homework and talking to Nathan and stuff while just kind of looking up every once in a while. So I'm not watching anything I'm super interested in or that I have to pay a lot of attention to, but I still think it's annoying the way my mom just walks into the room, takes the controller, and changes the channel without even asking if I'm watching that. But all I did was roll my eyes and go back to my homework. Then she turned on a recording of a show that we usually watch together, so I was annoyed because I was in the middle of other stuff and couldn't actually pay attention. Then when the show ended (without me seeing much of it at all), she deleted it and asked if I minded if she watched something. So I said "You just did. Why are you asking afterward?" and she got all pissed off and left the room. I know it's her house and her TV, but it still pisses me off the way she asks AFTER she takes over so she can feel like she's being polite or something. If you're going to be a jerk about it, don't even bother asking. Or, if you're going to ask, ask BEFORE you do it rolleyes

Yeah, it is when I even have a B in an elective class, like Nutrition and Wellness. I usually have A's in my classes. I only used to get B's in two classes. One in math, and one in history, maybe.

First day of work was today. I'm not so much irritated or stressed as I am... worried.
Today was the first day for me and one other guy, and the other guy seemed to be catching on much more quickly than me. I don't think they're too happy with me.
I don't think anyone's ever happy with my ability to do work; it seems like I'm just not fast enough.
