"That statement is not absolute." she replied softly to the stranger. Returning her attention to David she shook her hear. "Insanity. You know not what you speak of. Or perhaps you do and if that is the case, yours are the words of a coward." she said softer still. Stepping around the bar now, she felt like shrinking behind there until the conversation between Zero and the stranger continued. Instead, she now turned her attention to them, putting her experience this evening aside.

The place hasn't. The people have. Many people have lovers or even families to care about. The people of extremes have calmed down, lost the keen on their edge, and have mellowed out enough to at least co-exist with out people here. But that's what keeps it alive I think. DLY and myself have learned that and our rivalry has dimmed from an inferno to a simmer and I'm fine with that, though I do regret we arn't the duo we used to be before me and him reversed out roles on the good-evil spectrum but that's what happens. She nodded to Zero. "That I agree to, absolutely." she said with a hint of a smile showing at the corners of her lips. Slowly she turned toward the wall, leaning her back against the bar, she lowered to her floor.

Hearing the stranger leave, she felt relieved for some reason. When Zero spoke again, she smiled a bit, not knowing why he would offer such things. "Thank you, I will be fine. I simply do not understand .."

He does it to get under your skin and since he does he keeps doing it. He used to that that stuff alot with Angel because he knew it would fuel my anger and it would get under her skin. While he has clamed down, thank the Gods otherwise your legs might be broken, he still does stuff just to get a rise out of people. Me and Angel ignore him now and he's pretty much leaving us be. I suggest if you start doing to shame thing he will lose interest. As for the first part of your question you can't understand insanity because then it wouldn't be insanity it would just be irrational thinking. Some people know what to do in some situations, some people don't. And some people think they know what to do but it ends up biting them back anyway. Those are the people who are usually seen as insane for their thinking. An over cautious person and more of a danger to others then a raging manic is. You know to get out of the manics way, the cautious person is all well and good until the time to make a choice comes around and they turtle. I hope you understood that, if not just tell me.
