*sighs* since when did this go from something taken the wrong way to "Oh look, the BC is a lost cause because ppl joke around OOC". I admit things disscussed and done here aren't in the best intrestes of everyone but that isn't a reason to leave the BC. the purpose of the OOC is to keep that kind of thing from cluttering the other threads. If you don't like it, don't read the posts here.

Indeed.I find the whole subject rather pointless.I hold very little care for it,ESPECIALLY with the media involved.Having brutally chopped up everything and shown it they want it.Today fires and corpses,to portray horror and sell as much as they can,then a sudden switch to flags,patriotism,kids getting clothes.Relief effort in the prime,to sell more papers and make it all look less hopeless.Well,it is mostly hopeless.Frankly,if the media intends to use the loss of human life as a basis for income,I intend to savagely reduce their income by ending my care for the lives they feed upon.

I die in a horrific car accident...god forbid they use my corpse to generate money for themselves.You don't see hundreds of copies being sold because of the obituaries...it's sad in a way,but desensitizing is the only shed of pride we have left.We can only redeem ourselves by turning our eyes and stopping caring.Sure,we'll give our quarters and say "yeah it's a shame" and move on,knowing somehow we did our part,but as long as the media wants to use them as an economical resource,I'll treat them as such.Be it myself,my neighbour,or foreign peoples.

Ok, the rape thing is just an inside joke between several members of the Black Company. The glomp thing is a cybernetic hug where one throws themself into the hug, almost like a soft tackle. The glomp is a sign of friendship, love, or often times playful affection. When someone glomps another person they are normally friends, example: I may go up to Focht and glomp him, and he may glomp me back. Why? Not because we have a lower grade of intelligence, but it's a sign of friendship, and we're friends ( sweatdrop hopefully). The Rave rape thing, I think, was started by me in a joke because Xol was being his natural self and trying to be perverted with her, so I beat him to the punch whee That was a personal joke between me and him that eventually got spilled over to Rave. Actually, I think it origionated from when Xol raped one of the Black Company members, IC, and I just turned it into some sorta joke.
