*sigh* First time I used our program director's study guide for our Monday test, and she goes and changes the whole test. I most likely failed the test because of it. Won't be using HER guides any more. crying
scream I hate it what a teacher does that! What's the deal with that? I'll betting you did better than you think, Robynn. heart
*BIG HUGS while plotting to bop the teacher in her noggin* twisted
I know I did well on the questions part. But there were 32 questions, and one extra credit (not sure how much it was worth, but there were 3 parts to it), and 29 medications. I SHOULD have just started filling in, but about halfway through doing that I got frustrated and angry because I was so confused that I stopped trying to math them up and left about half blank. Not even a slim chance of getting those right, so it's bad. I'm sure I'll get a D on the test, which is failing. I'm sure Mr. K. will have a talk with Mrs. Nguyen, but ultimately, she's the program director, and her test to make. I won't use her study guides any more. I HATE PROFESSORS LIKE THAT. I don't even understand WHY they give the study guide if whatever is on the study guide isn't anything like what's on the test?!? They say a teacher should teach what they test and test what they teach. What is so hard about that concept?! I feel for ya, Robynn. That happened to me on my GIS exam. I just looked over the book questions our professor gave us and thought I was all right. Well, the questions on the test were NOTHING like the book questions! I ended up failing, and I was flipping out. I'm not a person to fail tests, not at all. Good news we just had our second exam and I studied my own way (mostly made Flashcards. Those things are AMAZING) ... it paid off, cuz I only missed 4 out of 125 points. blaugh You just have to tell yourself that there will be other tests, other assignments, other labs, etc. Maybe more chances for bonus. Talk to your advisor, talk to the teacher. See if you can find someone who has all ready taken the class to maybe give you some pointers on the tests. And hey, now you know how the tests are set up, so you'll be way better off next time. YOU CAN DO IT ROBYNN!!!!! heart
My teacher was still stewing today. He had to remake his (I can't think of the stupid word...what he uses to correct the tests...it's ONE word, and it escapes me). There are 2 tests and 2 parts to each test, so it took him a lot longer to correct them. So, I got my test back (for a minute) and I ended up with a 77%. I only missed 4 of the questions, and I had 8 extra credit points, so the drugs dropped me from an A to a C. But it's NOT failing, and that's what counts! *sigh* Good thing I'm ahead in my lab (already started next term's lab, and next term isn't for another 2 weeks), and my math is kicking (it's not REALLY math, for the most part). And I do all the extra credit possible.
And now grabbing updates that need to be grabbed. I know, at least, Kitten needs her scroll updated. Going back a page too.

Was originally just looking to see what the Halloween eggs/dragons look like. But I ended up getting a dragon egg I don't have. I think this will be my only one this time around.

Willa-Wisp Terryfairy I actually got one finally! They've increased the chances of actually getting a hold of one within the last 6 hours so people should take another look to see how they did it. Glad you were able to nab one, Terry! I'm finding that dropping 6 eggs at one time has only doubled the numbers of people trying to grab to them. I'm beginning to think I may not get any Halloween eggs this time.
Anyone know if this is only a 24 drop of these eggs? Or is it going to be a little longer?
Got your egg and taking it to the Incubator. biggrin At the time I was looking at it there was still roughly 300 people watching the page but that was at about noon and more people were probably trying to do stuff at night because Halloween is associated with darkness/night. Here are my two new eggs.
