Kibo looks at his right arm, and the ring now donning his little finger. He chuckles, and pulls it off, holding it as far away from his right hand as he can. Suddenly, a blood-red string appears between the ring and Kibo's right palm. Kibo swings the ring in a circle, wrapping the thread around his right arm. As soon as the ring touches the skin, the string wrapped completely around his arm, his arm erupts in flame. When the flame dies down, Charon's arm is there, in place of Kibo's, only this time with a small white circle where the ring had hit the skin. He touches the ring, and immediately, the arm becomes Kibo's again, the red string whipping back into place, into his palm.
Kibo: It works perfectly. Now, let's see one more thing.
Kibo pulls the ring again, about an arm's length and a half. He stops, and the string broadens, forming into the shape of Charon's Claw. The bloody color recedes, revealing the bleached-bone hilt and pommel. He tosses the blade into the ground, pleased to see, coming from the top of the skull/pommel, which would be the bottom of the sword itself, a thin red string, leading to his palm. He pulls on it, and the blade comes back into his hand. It changes back to the string, and recedes once again into his palm. He replaces the ring in its rightful place.
Kibo: There. Necessity gives birth to innovation.

"Pretty trick. I wonder why Artimise never thought of that."
Storm smiled, but it was strained. One doesn't come out of an encounter from a soul-stealing power hungry demonic sword/arm thing unscathed. Still, it had quickly become her own personal shield of sorts not to show strain or demoralizing emotions. One never knew who might be watching.

Kibo: Artimese probably didn't have several caves full of gold and inventors from every age to draw resources from, eh?

"Well...he had lots of gold but not inventors form every age. Our now deceased friend, Jarlaxle, was a...unique sort of drow. Lots of rescources and the like. He just didn't have any assests from the Age of Dreams, besides Charon.
