Darth what is your sig from, Conan?
Looks like the guy is wearing a tartan or whatever they're called. But then the face paint looks kinds of native style, and the broach looks like some kind of greek reference. lol

Slaine, a comic from the 2000 AD company.
It's pretty Conan-esque, but with a LOT more emphasis on Celtic mythology and with some seriously grimdark magic thrown in. The character in question (Slaine) suffers from "warpspasms" which is basically when a berserker flips out so ******** hard he's actually performing magic and shapeshifting into this freakish looking monster.
And yeah, the art is really mixed, which I like. The facial features and warpaint look American Indian though, and I like the style of the bodylanguage. He's supposed to be a Celtic berserker though, as far as the source material goes.

That sounds awesome. I'm kind of getting sick of seeing the word warp everywhere, but I know what you mean.

Surprised you don't have uh... not good, but like, detailed, art of that succubus yet. I don't want to say the old one in your signature is bad because it wasn't. While I understand that in your case avi art = character art it's still a character design that would benefit from a more realistic style. More like a Marvel or WoW art style.

Well we all already know there's a bulk of material on the subject. It's not like it would be hard to find a red-haired succubess wearing gold jewelery and just say "using this for Rosalyn".

Slaine is pretty old; I think it actually predates Warhammer so its use of the term "warp" isn't derived from that, it comes from the fact that his body is being warped.
Apparently the ability comes from the Irish myth of Cuchulainn, or something.

Well, there's a few reasons why I haven't had any new art done. Leaving Gaia was one of them. I like how my friend pretty much knows the character so he gets really close to what I have envisioned, but I don't want to burden him with projects. And I just haven't really wanted any new art for her. Oh, and I'm not a big fan of the WoW style art. I mean, sure it's good, but just not my preference.
