Amaya swept the kitchen, served a meal and retired where she quickly fell asleep. She would continue work in the morning.

Umemi surveyed her girls and smiled thoughfully to hersel about the up and coming performance that she wishes to hold with the girls of the Okiya for the gentleman as part of the training. She thought that a couple of the girls held potential though she would have to bring it out in a more diverse way than normal to be sure about these things. She sat at the kitchen table with her tea and watched what went on.

Sakura walked dpwn the stairs to the kitchen. Sakura poured herself a cup of tea then went outside to the garden.

Things really had to be worked out in the Okiya properly, Umemi mused to herself as she sipped at her tea. Something needed changing, the girls needed more to do other than just chores and studies. But what? she asked herself. She finished her tea and decided to take a walk around the garden to help her thiink.

Sakura rose to her feet and went into the maiko's room. She then took a piece of paper and her paints outside to pratice her technique in art. Sakura had learned rather fast about techniques in art and wanted to learn even more.

Rose nods, taking the brushing and adding some of the white paint to it. she ties her hair back and began, putting the brush first to her neck, and using another brush it even it out. she continues, most of her neck now purely white, her facing soon become like snow. "Am i doing this right?"

Ayame watched Rose apply the makeup, taking in every detail. She sipped her tea silently and intentively.

Rose nods to tora, looking at her sel f ang giggling as her entire face was pure white. "I look so naked.. with out my eyebrows or my lips colored" she applies a fine line to her left eyebrow

Umemi sighs as she writes the girls a letter explaining why she is going away from the eigth to the fourteenth. She has to go interstate to help a young girl who might be joining the Okiya. She went to find Tora who seems to be in charge lately. "Tora" Umemi called with a ruefull smile "Tora"

Kiyo was shoved in by the man who brought her. "This is where they want you" he had said gruffly. SHe steeped inside carefully, slipping off her worn slippers and called "conichiwa, is anyone home?"

Sakura noticed the new girl and went over to here. "Konnichiwa, I am Sakura." Sakura bowed kindly to the girl then told the girl if she had any questions, Sakura would gladly answer them.
(by the way, maids will want 2 mark their post so after each post put (post *insert number here*) once u reach a certain number you can become a maiko.)

(thanks) Kiyo bowed to Sakura and looked around the Okiya's entranceway. She suddenly thought about why she was here "where should i go...to start working?"
