She smiled back just a bit, still concerned for him. "What is it that troubles you? And did you tell Viper you would be drinking? Will he know you have been drinking if you have not told him? Does this affect young Reeve also?" she asked rather quickly.

"Oh, Viper will know as soon as he starts staggering just like I am." Soloman laughed for a moment. "And no, the young one won't feel a thing. Kinda wish he would though, it might ease some of the pain he's in."

Soloman tipped the rest of the bottle contnets into his mouth and swallowed. "I worry about the young one, so I might seem off. It seemes to be no more than a common sickness, but because of his current size it is taking quite a toll on him. We know of no one that might be able to help though, so all we can really do is wait." He looked at the bottle for a second, then looked at the bar. He saw a bottle, not really caring what it was and snapped his fingers. The bottle was almost instantly in his hand and he struggled to open it.

Seating herself on the couch beside him, she drew her knees up to her chest and slowly rested her head on her knees. "Is he somewhere safe?"

"He warped himself to Rayne's home, but she did not appear to be there. He is there waiting for her, hoping that she might know of some cure." He finally got the bottle open and drank a bit before looking at her strangely. "I never knew you had pointed ears..."

"I hope he is feeling better soon or that Rayne can help him." she said softly, holding her knees tighter.
When Soloman next spoke, she felt her cheeks go pink. Slowly she raised her head and looked to him with a worried expression, wondering and hoping he would approve. The very tips of her ears were still red with soreness from the still changing state. "I did not originally. Over the past few days, soon to bee weeks .. my ears have been changing. I know not why."

Soloman took another drink before speaking again. "Perhaps you are a Magi... it explains many things I suppose." Setting the bottle down, he pulled a pipe out from a pouch at his side. He then took some kind of herb from the sam pouch and placed it into the pipe's hole.

"Are Magi elves?" she asked, looking to him with innocent curiosity. She hardly knew what to say, only had more questions. "I .. I know that when one is a rider .. the same happens to their ears. I am not a rider .. and it normally is much more gradual, slow .." she said softly. It was clear that she was concerned, afraid even of what was happening but she did not go in to that.

"Think of the elves before the became... well, semi-emotionless beings..." He put his finger into the hole of the pipe and the herb lit. "...Then you have the Magi. We actually changed what it ment a bit, so that it would cover anyone who uses the origional magik." He took a large drag from the pipe, exhaling a very strange smelling smoke. "And no, elves have not always been like they are now."

Soloman smiled and put his hand on her back gently. "As long as you understand that, you will be fine in this world." He took another drag, then stood. "I must go now. Sleep well Ziven and know that things will work out..." And with that the disappeared.

Raising her head again, she looked at him with a somber face for a moment before a small smile moved across her lips. "Thank you, Soloman. Rest well." she said softly before waving good night to him.

Again waking in the bar, Ziven searched the room to see who may be around. After a moment, she rose from the couch, stretched and began to walk around the room.

With a silent movement Dax hoped down fromt he rafters, not even making a sound when he landed.
Makeing his way across the room like a shadow he found himself stadning behind Ziven, a pranksters grin upon his lips. Slowly he moved hus head foward until his mouth was close to her ear....
