People will choose to find offense with whatever they want to in order to justify their actions, or reactions.
*shrugs* It's the proper term for the breed, and species.
With warm weather, comes great idiots. Why don't people stop at stop signs when they are on bicycles? *cringes* No way a cyclist is walking away from an accident with any kind of vehicle.

Given the trajectory of all the earth quakes over the past few weeks, where do you think the next one will be?

So Im watching my Wife play FFXIII and to be honest besides gorgeous its pretty epic. Swords and guns get equal screen time, the environments are jaw dropping and though there's some more bloom in the cut scenes the dividing line between game play and cut scene is really really small.
Edit: and Snow (the main male character) is most assuredly Silver Alexander, hes obsessed with being the Hero and he punches things to death.

So far everything I've heard about Final Fantasy XIII is that it's a fantastic, amazing game... about fifteen hours in where everything starts to click as a cohesive experience. Before that it's just painful.
I'm going to wait a little while before I pick it up, since I've enjoyed Final Fantasy games more based on the recommendation of friends, than recommendations of critics.

Other than Snow and Vanilles dialogue the beginning is quite epic (and the other games have bored me to tears), it has a good rhythm to it, its not a lot of running around but then were only 2 hours in, and Im not playing Im just watching. Its very well polished thus far, environments, animations, music, scene loading, and the real time combat system is smoooooooth. SO much less clunky than in XII. Flightless: we have a PS3

Much like how Bayonetta works and looks a bit better on the the 360 because it was developed for that and ported to PS3, FF looks and plays better on the PS3 for the same reasons. It's not broken on the 360, it's just a hair better on the PS3.
That said, I repeat my eternal advice for this console generation: Buy what most people you know have.

Yeah most games are cross platform now anyway.
So my usual "a system's worth is directly equivalent to the games that are on it" logic is slowly being phased out.

From my understanding half the reason that the 360 version of the game isn't quite as good is because it was ported. The other half is that Square got really, REALLY lazy when they ported it, resulting in some terrible compression techniques.
Though at the end of the day it's the same game.

ragingtofu Mullato is a word for someone with one white parent and one black parent. Though some people take offense to it. I don't know WHO, but... And yes, Crawley, pretty much. And Sun, those are just... kicks of love. The term "Mulatte" is still considered a "bad word" in Germany. So is "Neger". Btw, just to make sure that I get that right: In the US, it's okay to say someone's "black" but an offense to say "colored"...? I always feel like, no matter what terms you use, you always step on somebody's toes. What I find interesting is that one of my professors calls herself a "white German" in some situations, to remind people that Germany is, in fact, a multi-cultural country these days, even if most people don't want to see that.

It's offensive because "colored" refers to all non-whites, generally. Black, hispanic, latino, blahblahblah tend to be accepted because they're specific.
As one who is nearly a quarter black, I have my official license in race relations. I also have a rap license, but I haven't needed to use that in years.
