Gerrick didn't bother looking over, instead thinking about how much of a hypocrite this man was. He was marked by Khorne and all was well. The boy was marked by Khorne and was threatned to death, as if denied the right to live. Instead, the boy let his tears shed in silence, now only sobbing a little as he backed more into the corner uner the table.

He knew it must have all looked odd after his vulgar display but there was a method to his madness. His foot steps seemed to echo as he walked slowly across the wooden floor to a chair where the sat and watched the boy, thinking, contemplating, waiting for him to calm down enough so they could talk and he could explain.

Just hanging back, watching the scene unfold, he realized this was one hell of a place. Whoever this "Khorne" guy was, Matt decided right then and there, he wanted nothing to do with. A god it seemed .. but god's wern't people to walk about, or so he thought. The smile he wore earlier was gone, replaced by a calm look as he continued watching, not wanting to get in the middle of something he knew nothing about.

Rivals? Yawgmoth stepped back out of the way, the gears in his brain working. Yawgmoth would never come to worship another being, but perhaps he could talk this Khorne into lending his aid for permanent removal of Slaanesh. Besides, Yawgmoth was whole again, complete to his former glory. He could stand up to Slaanesh by himself if Khorne declined but the resulting injuries wouldn't be able to be calculated and planned for. So this was best if Khorne lent his aid to Yawgmoth. Even better, if Yawgmoth got his son to lend his hand too. Yawgmoth smiled with a sadistic glee and his body exploded into a pile of black liquid that slithered under the floorboards and vanished from sight.

When Zero approached, she moved closer to Gerrick, not wanting to see violence inflicted upon the boy again tonight. "Gerrick?" she said softly, looking to the boy with concern.

His eyes watched the pile of evil slither away and disappear. He knew what had to be churning in DLY's head and he only chuckled* It will never work *He spoke to himself

"....I...don't want to be powerless anymore....I...I want to be strong like Daddy was.....I miss him...please come back Daddy.." He muttered, now rocking a little as his tears dried away, his sobbing gone but the shivering stayed. His eyes were distraught and bleak of emotion as he waited in silence for his fear to pass or his father to come for him. He would wait in vain.

He closed his eyes, the boy had lost his father which was a shame. So young yet so fatherless, this boy needed the kind of guidance that Khorne would not offer. He wouldn't sit idle and watch the Dark God corrupt an innocent. He was the prime example of the pinnacle of Chaos and yet he was fighting against it, his life seemed to always be one big contradiction

With a soft sigh, she realized that she was not doing much good. Though she worried that this was the wrong action, she gently placed her arms around Gerrick, intending to hold him in place of his father, which they all knew would not come for him.

He learned the boy's name from listening to Zivian* Gerrick...please, I wish to speak with you. I want to explain a few things to you, especially about my actions.

Fiddling in his pocket, he pulled out the last momento his father left, being a Symbol of Khorne. ".....You left me alone...For him..." He squeezed the symbol and slammed it on the floor, now crying. The symbol, however, had a soft red glow as an echoing voice resonated in Ziven's and Zero's head.
And now he sits alone...in fear and traumatized by the life I've left him. This symbol wasn't real, but it was created by me to watch my son grow after my demise. Alas, my human wife couldn't bear to handle a half human, half Dervish... And now he is powerless, parentless...and doomed to die. Someone must take him in, teach him religion, and allow him to make the right choice. Khorne was my patron, and I served him with fanatical desire. But when my son was born....I left Khorne's service. In return, I died.
Save my son. It is too late for me...

He listened with eyes closed, by the time it was over tears were running down his face silently. Gerrick's father had chose to do the exact same thing as he did except he had to pay a different toll. He mentally prayed for the lost soul of the Khornate Warrior.

Ziven gave up on both Zero and Gerrick since neither of them gave any sort of response to her words. Even when she touched Gerrick, it made no difference. They were in a world that she was clearly no part of and would likely never be.
Rising from underneath the table, she wandered to the other side of the room, not wanting to leave just yet tonight.

He soon recollected himself, pushing more pressing matters to the front* Gerrick, unfortunately your father is gone and he is not coming back. Here, I offer you a home with food and shelter. I will offer you my knowledge and understanding of the ways of Chaos and it's religion. I will even act as a mentor if you wish me too but know this. I won't let you become one of Khorne's mindless killing machines. I was once but I was lucky enough to break free, like your father tried to do, though I am not without my penalties too.

Seeing Ziven go, the boy dashed out from under the table and wrapped his arms around her waist, his face pressed into her lower back as he hugged her tightly. "Don't go...please don't leave me alone.....Please Miss...take me home with you.. "He muffled and looked up at her, his eyes red and puffy from crying as he sniffed. "I...I don't want to be alone."
Hearing Zero talk, he knew it was true. His father did die because of Khorne, but he left to protect his wife and son...Silently, Gerrick always wished his father was lying and would come home, but the morbid truth would always linger. "Not today...not until I know the truth...not until I know who I am.."
