Weapon Preference: Kodachi ((The Kodachi Is a sword whose size is longer then a Katana but shorter Wakizashi sword. It speacializes in defence.))
If you are letting people in who dun even know their standard Japanese weaponry, then this is a sorry guild.
A kodachi, or short sword (a newer name for it than the traditional wakizashi), is a smaller form of tachi, which is an older style sword that is more curved than a katana. It is about the same length as a wakizashi, though many variants can sometimes alter its length, and is most commonly wielded with a tsuka gripping style.
These crazed Rurouni Kenshin fans aren't suited for ninjutsu. And ninjas rarely use swords at all, since most ninjutsu is strictly based off of stealth and deception. Common weapons for ninjutsu are kanto, shuriken, the kama, and the traditional throwing knife. Many of these weapons, like the kama, were used by the common people since they were not allowed to carry weapons of their own.
