OOC:
(This is a public announcement. Since the majority vote has been cast in favor of this, we will be having a time jump. The lapse time will be set for three centuries. I know that seems like a long time, but for things to pick back up, and for Arjay to get to rp with us again, we needed this. For those of you who do not agree with this vote and would rather not rp this jump..feel free to start a seperate rp with your characters in a new thread. You can post your character as playing through the 'lapse time'. But, since I doubt this will occur, I'm not that worried about it. As things stand right now, Arjay will be returning from his whatever he was doing.. Marshall is training with Seth's older brother, Jay. Seth and Lyra are somewhere in the ocean on Seth's ship, to keep her safe. Lucid is currently in the Haven with Ivory and Gabriel, killing those that come looking for Lyra. I'm not entirely sure about Jigsaw, Danielle, Dazramus, Lacara or Ryth..so I suppose those folks will have to surprise me. Have fun everyone. Thank you.)

The world seemed angry, not a huge oddity but something that occurred infrequently enough to be taken notice of. Lacara moved slowly toward the Haven, surprised that she was not having to fight for every step she took. The trip through the plains had been uneventful now that she knew her way. A part of her was concerned. She had dealt with her friends master often enough to know that nothing slipped past his guard. Surly her presence so close to the sprawling old castle that few called home was not going unnoticed. The wind whipped around her, stinging her skin as it pushed it's way past her. The sky was dark, the bright rays of the moon eclipsed, giving the castle and it's barren surroundings an even more ominous feel. Wave after wave crashed up against the land, the ocean's anger unleashed upon the very terrain that caged it's waters in. the castle was dark, for once no welcoming light shone like a beacon from somewhere in it's depths. She couldn't help but think that perhaps the world around her was a sign to what was coming. The thought made the sick feeling in her gut tighten, and she forced herself to draw a deep breath. In truth she should have come weeks ago...but it was all she could do to come now. As it was her courage hung by a simple thread, not that it had been all that high to start with. Her visits to the Haven had been few and far between, one every ten or fifteen years perhaps. Not this time, now only a scant three months had passed since her last venture inside the walls of Dark Haven. And after what had happened she had sworn it would be her last for some time to come. A promise, she had been unable to keep, she thought now. Upon reaching the the front doors she frowned, and a sick sense of dread filled her mind. Biting her lip, she hesitated and damn near convinced herself to turn around. Reaching up, she lifted the heavy knocker and let it's resounding thud echo throughout the night. Shifting slightly she prayed that someone would answer, before she gave in to the urge to simply slip away.

[[ Even though I wasn't included in the list, I shall have Kyatora around the Haven, she is a quiet one. ]]

Gabriel strode silently down the hallway, carrying a bottle of blood. He paused near the entry, having heard the sound of the knocker hitting the tap-plate. He drew in a breath, then let it out slowly, moving over to the doors. Pulling one large, heavy door open, he leaned in the open space, smiling when he saw Lacara. "Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes.." he said softly, then took a step back to motion her in. "Come on before it starts raining on you.."

A pale, almost ivory form slipped under the crack of the door towards Lacara. It had eyes, and a mouth, after a sort. It was all but featureless after that, though. It look almost like a disembodied head. No not a head, a mask! In an almost death rattle, it spoke a few chilling words, "Who Goes there....."

Slowly wandering through the endless halls, Kyatora continued through the main hallway like she had over the past several years. She had decided to spend most of her time within the castle, and when she wasn't wandering one of the endless passages to the point of feeling lost at see, she was out wandering the grounds, mainly on the shore line listening to the endless crashing of waves with picked up winds or the soft whisper of the faintest shift in the waters movement. She found that the castle's peacefulness was very enjoyable. The sound of old, yet familiar voices rang through her ears as she makes her way to the other end of the hall silently, coming upon the main entrance, she spied a few different people around the main door. Jigsaw, or rather the mask of Jigsaw, being the first that she recognized. Seeing the other two as regular forms around the castle, their names not quite coming to her at that moment. Remaining in the background of the castle, she had found peace in simple observation for the past years, she believed that she wasn't that known about the castle, knowing if it was actually true, she also didn't know. Approaching the small group with silent footfalls, she remains still quite a few feet back, not feeling the need to make her presence known.

Startled, Cara looked down at her feet to where the odd, mysterious voice's origin and frowned. Studying the thing that lay at her feet she sighed before lifting her gaze back up to meet Gabriel's. "Do I want to know?" she asked quietly as she stepped over the mask like thing and across the threshold.

The mask slid back behind the door, and a foppish figure dressed in jester's clothing stepped out. The figure looked as if he was replacing a mask on his head. He turned and bowed. "Mayhaps not, dear lady. I am Jigsaw, Professional Fool, at your service." Taking her hand lightly, he bent his mask to it, and brushed it across her hand. Instead of a cold ivory, it almost felt like a pair of lips. very peculiar...

Gabriel watched the jester, keeping his comments to himself. He had sort of avoided the strange being for the past few centuries. Ivy seemed to get upset whenever anyone acted friendly toward him anyway. Shifting, he glanced around for his fellow demon, heaving a small sigh when he didn't see her. "Where is Ivory?" he asked, pulling Cara away from Jigsaw gently. "Or are you hiding from her?"

"Not hiding, good demon, simply wandering. Besides a light jest, I mean no harm 'giggle'. Ivroy is with her master, for the while. Gives me time to roam for a bit. I do love my mistress so, but she can a bit taxing at times"

Watching the odd by-play, Cara suppressed a sigh, and stood stiffly behind Gabriel. This was not going to be the most pleasant of visits. Shifting uncomfortably, she waited for a good moment to interrupt. Normally she would have let her friend finish his conversation before asking to speak with him, but she knew that if she was going to do this she needed to get it done fast...or she might not do it at all. Reaching out, she tentatively grasped the demons hand in her own. "Gabriel, I need to speak with you...in private for a moment when you can." she whispered softly, glancing over at the odd jester. She offered a slight smile in lieu of his greeting, after all the man, odd as he was had done nothing to warrant her being rude.

Gabriel nodded to Jigsaw. "Alright..just wondered was all." he said, giving his shoulders a light shrug. "Just stay inside. It's going to storm like crazy out there." He turned to Cara then, and motioned for her to follow him. Turning away, he strode down the hallway he'd come from, headed toward the lounge. Once he'd reached the familiar glow, he paused, looking back at her. "Is it bad or something? I can tell that you're nervous." Hell, he was nervous too, now. She never acted this serious. He did what he could to prepare his mind for the worst possible scenario..just in case.

Lacara glanced around the room and slowly made her way over to the window. She wanted to see the moment when the sky opened, and unleashed it's torrent of water. Staying silent for a few moments she pondered the demons question. Was it bad? Was it? To tell the truth she wasn't really sure. Possibly...no..even saying possibly made her wince regardless of the truth of it. now that she was here her mind was blank. What was she supposed to say..did she really have to say anything at all. Why disrupt his life as well as hers...and god only knew what that master of his would think. "Ummm...bad might be too strong of a word, but it's important." she hedged, her mind racing.

Gabriel leaned against the bar, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched her. Something was up, he was sure of it now. There was something she didn't want to tell him..something important. "Okay..so what is it then?" he asked, flicking his tail slightly.
