@Hono: Why not check out some other possibilities first? Or does your contract state you're not allowed to apply at other companies/stores/etc. while being employed at the hotel?
I'm not on a contract.. I only have to give 2 weeks notice as a courtesy, but my hours make it difficult to look for another job... and being without a job would make it easier to look for a new one while motivating me to get the job done as quickly as possible
