The scientist shook his head, "Someone needs to watch over Aled-sama... just in case..."
Aoki smirked, "Well then, I'll join you, Kaguyo. Unless of course you're eager to see just which Aled we wound up with."

"Not at all." Kaguyo admitted quietly. "But we can't be long. I won't leave Watari-kun with an angry Aled again.... He doesn't deserve that. A few drinks, see what Aled's up to, and bed." she decided quietly. "I'm exhausted."
She gave Watari another hug before leaving. "Be careful, buddy."
She wasn't sure how much she really like Aoki, but perhaps a drink or two would seal some sort of friendship between them.

Aoki followed after Kaguyo, but Watari sighed.
Blood was dripping from his hands, Aled's blood, but it wasn't that which caused the scientist to be depressed.
No...
It was the fact that Kaguyo was believing every word Aoki said.
And that, in itself, never meant anything good....

Kitaria followed through the portal, her silver eyes narrowing into slis as they stepped out onto the empty battlefield. She stepped back and tied a pieace of cloth around her mouth.
"Herne, without a doubt. It seems he has even more iron tricks." She eyes the ki blased ground, the iron debris and blood ont eh ground and shook her head.
"I do not like that he was this careless with iron with Garren around."

Arashi glared at Herne. "Lock him away, make him one of your minions, but don't kill him!"

Po-ar was standing just before where he KNEW Ainsu, Kazuhiko, and Morrigan had been.
He could see the different bloodstains.
"There are only three patches of blood." Itachi said, having surveyed the area.
The Tarnb-jin Ouji frowned, "I got the distinct impression it was three against five. So either Herne had more allies... or Mor-chan and the others brought five... but where are the other two?"

"Fir most likely accompanied them," Kitaria said, exmaining the area carefully.
"There's a bit of his blood there," she said, somehow able to spot the diffrence between all teh other blood in the area.
"But it is small, and I have little doubt he has already made his escape. He prides himself on not being caught. Fir is long gone. Morrigan, Kazuhiko, Ainsu, Fir...."
The woman thought for a moment. "Gwyllion, most likely. Morrigan is his sister after all, and he is not teh type to sit around while others go off."

Herne laughed hollowly. "Do you ahve any idea how difficult either of those would be? That Fianna b***h has already got her claws in him, I have no doubt and will use him to kill me. You want the boy to live so much, bring me the head of the Fianna and I will spare his life."

"Where would Herne have taken them?" Po-ar demanded, ready to go after them as soon as he knew the location.

Crossing her arms over her chest, Arashi wasn't about to back down. "Then I'll fight her and bring you her head, but you're not to touch the boy. Besides, you've got enough people to torment and murder in the mean time."

"Whatever he is using as a hideout," Kitaria said with a shrug. "It should not be difficult to follow. I'll I have to do is search for a large iron concentration. We will likely find him there."

Kitaria nodded, her face troubled. There was more than one reason she did not want Kazuhiko and his family to meet up with Herne again, beyond the obvious reason.
Herne knew exactly what went into making a person into a hunter.
The woman ran off, using her allergy to iron as a guide to the direction Herne was hiding.

Po-ar and Itachi both followed Kitaria, the two Tarnb-jin using their ki to fly just behind the woman.

But before Arashi could leave the room, a voice spoke up.
It was Ainsu, who was barely conscious, but awake enough to have heard the conversation.
"Don't touch Kazuhiko..." the playwright whispered.

"As long as the Fianna lives, it is his life or mine," Herne said cooly. "Though, if you want my opinion, the child will be much better off without Kitaria playing games with his life."

"If the iron gets into my blood, it will spread like a poison almost immdiatly," Kitaria said calmly. "However, my mind and body have been trained to ignore such pain until the battle is over. It will not affect my fighting or abilities."

Po-ar nodded, "If it starts to, I'll create a portal back to Fir's base. Hopefully, they'll be able to help if things take a turn for the worse."

"Like I care... from what I've heard, Kazuhiko is to replace you." Ainsu shook his head slightly, "But there's a problem with that. His parents don't want him to become a hunter. Why kill him? Kazuhiko is destined for a future not of this world."
