Sorry I haven't been posting lately, as well as sorry for flaking on you and the group Ryu on Saturday for D&D. Last few days I've just been damn near non-stop.
I potentially have a new job; I say intentionally despite the fact that I am already hired because I'm still negotiating my contract fees. Basically, I'm a sub-contracted PR Agent. Companies hire the parent company to advertise them, and then the parent company hires me to do the work. The work itself is tits easy, but it's the amount of work involved that will be a pain. So if I can't get a fair contract out of it, I'll just tell them I'll pass on the job. So while playing phone and e-mail tag with them, I've also been doing a lot of MTG events.
Went to the Friday Night Magic tournament like every week, and they ended up doing a Scars of Mirrordin pre-release keep draft at midnight. Basically, a draft is when everyone buys a set amount of packs (usually 3) and opens them up one at a time together. You pick one card from the first pack, and keep it. The rest you pass to the person next to you. Once you get handed someone elses cards, you pick a card and pass the rest. Rinse repeat, until you've gone through all the packs. What ever you got from this you have to use to make a 40 card deck, and at the end of the event you get to keep the cards. (Hence a 'keep' draft) Sadly I only did 1-3 that morning. Didn't end up getting home till 5 in the morning.
But then that same day, with 2 hours of sleep in me, I got suckered into going to the sealed keep draft. Sealed drafts work on the same idea as the regular draft, except you're given packs and whatever is in there you use; there's no passing cards around. I actually ended up doing 2-2 and reaching 9th place, which wasn't too bad. Didn't get home from that until 3:30 AM. So yesterday I was literally passed out till about 8 at night.

Man, I just realized that 4th edition Kharn and Ahriman are the two best HQs that aren't Monsterous Creatures in Warhammer 40k. When used together you can essentially prevent any betrayals on Kharn's part leaving him to land all hits and wound on all counts as well. For clarification, Warptime allows the player who cast it to re-roll all failed to hits and wounds for that turn. Kharn hits on a 2+ but if he gets any 1's he attacks an allied model, because of Warptime you get to re roll that one and it's as if it never happened. Granted other Scorcerers can use Warptime, but Ahriman has multiple wounds, and can cast the same spell twice per turn. So if you ******** up and fail it, you can get a second chance. That also doesn't take into account he can then cast another spell that turn.

Speaking of this month, I am planning to have sex in a graveyard on All Hallow's Eve this year, that should be fun. Otherwise, how are you peeps?

Yea sorry I haven't been posting; been in a pretty bad mind set lately. I'm mostly over it, but still finding myself lashing out a bit. It's a long story.
But I'll work on my post now.

Why does the Kowaru wanna be have the Lance of Longinus? That doesn't make any sense. Unless they really went balls out with the changes in the other remake movies, the only ones with access to the lance have been Rei and later on SEELE. Unless it's suppose to be a half a** attempt to reference the fact that the dummy plug system used in the mass produced Evangelions were using Kowaru's clones in place of Rei's.

J/K, I found the pic amusing, and figured I'd show it to you seeing as you are a big fan of eva as well sweatdrop The picture is what you get when a Japanese bara artist and fan of Evangelion and decides to draw a joke tribute. Also, what is SEELE? I haven't been exposed to Eva since I lived in Bath in '07, so I really don't remember if that was in the TV series or the Specials. I have yet to read either of the mangas. I only remember Rei using the lance in the series, and the MPE's using them in End of Evangelion.
