When Shou finally exited the shower, his phone was buzzing with a message. He really didn't want to look at it but finally he did as he sat down on the edge of the bed and picked up his phone then stared.
"Forgive his selfishness. Oh yes...sure. I'm suppose to suck this up and take it all in stride. You kiss me, Katsumi kiss me....Why does everyone feel that kissing is the best way to distract me. Sure. I know I'm feeling down right now but I'M NOT DESPERATE!"
He flung the phone and it hit the wall. Shou heard a crack and then put his head in his hands. "I guess I better get a new phone....tomorrow...too."
Getting up he walked over and picked up the phone. The glass was in shards on the floor. He dropped the phone into the trash basket and then started picking up the shards carefully.
Minutes later, Shou descended the stairs and looked around. He smelled something and wandered into the kitchen finding the food and chai waiting for him. For a long time, he just gazed at the food then slowly sat down at the table. "Itadakimasu...." He didn't know why he had bothered to say that at all. There was no one around to share this with. He at slowly feeling like the world had worn him thin today. He wondered what hurt more. Izzy's rejection or Ishihara's actions. Or maybe his own actions for just not saying no right off the bat. Next time....no....there would NOT be a next time. "I'm not an idiot. I'm not desperate. I don't need Izzy Lucky, Ishihara You, Katsumi...whatever his last name is. And I don't need anyone in MY life but me. Screw all of you! Go screw yourself! Leave me be!"
He didn't eat all the food and pushed the rest of it into the frig before wandering upstairs. Dream...nightmare...whatever this had been, Shou would have given a lot to forget about this. He couldn't even imagine what he was going to do for the next few days since Ishihara You was practically a part of the tour now. As Ko's tutor... And well, he couldn't get around the man anyhow because he was a VP of PR for Smash. Why the Heck did he have to do what he did!?
Shou flopped onto the bed and closed his eyes. Sleep didn't come easy...

((OOC: I wish I had the ability to hang out online like I used to. Work keeps me away from having too much free time, unfortunately...and the days I'm off, I'm usually swamped with doctor's appointments, errands, and a screaming toddler. I'm in bed every night between 7 and 9pm EST, even on weekends....so...yeah. I have no life. -weeps-)) Sadness sinks, and look, the night comes to an end. 
Suzaku had stopped off in the lounge to get a snack from the vending machines before heading home for the night, dreading the mess of a home he knew was waiting for him, with all the unpacked and still packaged items that he needed to organize and arrange.
When the guitarist plopped down on the couch where he had left his guitar and phone, he noticed that he'd gotten a text back from Naoko...which, frankly, caught him by surprise.
"Go figure..." he chuckled to himself, pulling up the message and reading over it, a frown coming to his lips. The little kitten was sick...that didn't make Jun happy in the least. He knew that Naoko had just been ill not so long ago...though "Suzaku" wouldn't have been aware of such.
Of course...it was probably a good thing that "Suzaku" didn't know about a lot of things going on in the lives of the Oumori brothers. He'd probably lose his damn mind if he did. It was almost a pity that Jun couldn't just box away all of his old memories and feelings. Becoming a new person was a hell of a lot harder than he'd imagined, having to feel like he was on guard for something all the time, always watching what he said and did.
Sleep, Naoko, and dream it all away. Lots of fluids, chicken soup, and garlicky foods will do you wonders. Sorry to hear you aren't well, but you definitely have to take good care of yourself before tour. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and I'd love to do coffee again. Maybe lunch? My treat. Let me know if you're well enough to get together before you leave. TTYL -Suza he sent the message, somewhat aggravated by the fact that his phone cut him off at the end with a text character limit. Ah well, what could he do?
Putting his phone away and toting the rest of his things, Suzaku headed home for the night, somewhat more satisfied with the way the day had ended.

Honestly, he used the company car service a lot more lately seeing as the drivers were very willing to give him a hand finding his way or getting what he needed when he had...difficulties. Pulling up outside the Koyasu home, Chiyou had the driver help him get to the door, where he rang the bell and waited to be invited in. karada o tsutau ame ni furueru awai omoi guren no yuuwaku ni...samayou yoru ga akeru

Ryu listened to the things Kou had to say, and he thought about them pretty hard. "You know...you're pretty special to me. If there's ever anything you want...I can make it happen. Time off work, excuses from exams, extra money in your pocket...I can do that. I...I want to do that...for you. If you'd let me..." the vocalist trailed off, absently biting his lip. He knew that his Raito liked to live simply and be independent...but as far back as he could remember, he just felt like he was supposed to protect this sweet young man and take care of him in whatever way possible. "Ok...well, I know what you want, so I'll keep an eye out for some unique things and surprise you with them when I get back. Oh! And I know this really cool Korean tech firm that makes some cutting edge smartphones. I'll pick you up one and ship it to you. If you don't like it, I can get you a Japanese made device when I get back. Mmm...I've gotten a few pics here and there. I'll start taking a pic every day, just for you." Ryuukaze spoke in his best sweetie-pie voice, content as a puppy getting a belly-rub. That contentment faded into worry when Kimura mentioned that last thing, though... "I see..." he took on a more serious tone, "I'll get in touch with my security and see if they know anything about that. Just be careful, babe. It's probably nothing to be worried about." he reassured his lover, though hearing things like that made him...nervous. ~ Sou boku no sekai wo nurikaete mitai ~

It wasn't Sai.
Standing at the top of the stairs, Naoko was silent as the grave as he listened to his boss rant and rave.
"And I don't need anyone in MY life but me. Screw all of you! Go screw yourself! Leave me be!"
That hurt.
Deeply hurt.
The blond hid himself as Shou came upstairs and made a beeline for his bedroom... but then Naoko stood in the hallway, debating what to do.
Initially it had been a loud thud that woke him. Unbeknownst to the pianist it had been Shou throwing his phone into the wall. He had no idea what had brought this on... and actually was afraid to ask for fear of making things worse.
Shou wasn't happy with him right now anyway...
'Maybe I should start living on my own again...'
Without thinking twice about his decision... Naoko headed back into his bedroom and packed up his things. He'd get the rest later but... right now he felt like he was intruding.
Shou needed his space...
By the time the peacock woke up the next morning... Naoko was just gone.
Of course by gone it was more like he'd put his things into his car and driven back to his own apartment. It was cold... the heating having been off for a long while now.
Quickly the pianist turned on the living room lights and made sure to adjust the heater. His amber eyes focused on the bedroom.... his bed was in there...
Would he be able to sleep?
Tomorrow he'd have to go out and get coffee... he'd need to buy some groceries and the like as well since they'd cleaned out his fridge and thrown away anything that could spoil.
Naoko felt alone.
But he shook his head, crawling into bed.
No, he wasn't alone. He was moving on. The younger Oumori knew he had to stop relying on Shou and Sai so much. He had to get on with his life. Ryu was gone, so what. Jun was dead, there wasn't anything he could do about that.
This was Naoko's life.
He had to live it.
With this determination in mind, the pianist drifted off to sleep, after a few more sneezes from his damn cold, as the heater finally kicked in and began flooding the apartment with a warm comforting feeling.
Of course he had gotten Suzaku's text during the time he was moving from Shou's back to his own place... and had replied in turn.
'Thanks. I'm looking forward to my own bed tonight. Just hope my place isn't freezing like I think it will be. Give me a day to rest up and then text me again and we'll talk about lunch.'

Akihiko had been closest to the door at the time and gladly opened up. "Hey Chiyou." the man spoke, stepping to the side slightly so that he wasn't standing directly in the younger man's path. "I figured you'd get here before everyone else. The pizza's still in the oven but it should be finished soon. Want a drink?"
He knew that Chiyou really wanted to talk more to Izzy than to himself, but he figured to be polite anyway.
After all, chances were that after tonight, the kid would hate his guts.

Izzy hurried around and then looked at the kittens before pulling out a cat brush and working them over. "There you two. Now you're both tidy. Oh...mm...I think Chiyou's here. Why don't I introduce you both first. I forgot he can't see you and well I don't want you running under his feet."
He picked up both of the kids and walked into the area, "Hi Chiyou...I'm glad you could make it! "
Tora started mewing immediately in Izzy's arms as he was held. The pudgy kitten had energy and he was curious about the new person. Ra on the other hand sat in Izzy's arms staring at Chiyou like he was surveying new property.
"Ah...Chiyou, this is Ra and Tora, our new kittens. Ra's a siamese and Tora is a Maine Coon. Very big baby kitten. My fur ball of love. He brought both kids forward so Chiyou could touch the fluffs. "We purchased cat toys the other day but the floors are cleaned up now so you shouldn't trip anywhere."

Once Shou got up the next morning, he called for Ko and Naoko but only Ko came running. Shou searched for Naoko however, he wasn't there and his room was empty too! This was another shock to the star who hadn't expected the young man to disappear like this.
Every day something happened and it wasn't in Shou's favor. He sent Ko to the kitchen and decided to call Naoko but realized he had ruined his PHONE!!! GRRR!!!
So he walked into Ko's room and grabbed the tablet then dialed Naoko's number. If the young man picked up or if it was voice mail, the question was still the same. "Why did you move out? I don't know why you suddenly decided to leave but I didn't ask you to go. I know you're feeling a little under the weather but you also were happy here too."
Shou rubbed his own forehead just wishing that people would stop shaking up his world. It always seemed like someone else brought drama to his existence.
Fortunately he was dressed and ready to go when he walked downstairs with the tablet in hand and gathered up Ko. Ometosando Hills was his first stop because he NEEDED a new phone. Yes, the star was going to show up in public and it would be messy but he needed a PHONE! Right NOW not later. He didn't feel like asking anyone to get a new one for him!.

"Goodness, well I know I am but I'm trying really hard to not take advantage of that. There's a time and place for those things. You know. I care about you. But I don't want you to think I'm sticking around because of what you can do or your pocket book." Kou was very independent and he wanted to make sure that he didn't seem like the sleeze boyfriend that took advantage of his lover because the man was much better off than he.
"Ok...ok.. you can buy me the phone." he smiled an shook his head as he closed in on his work place. I'm sure I'll like it. Just make sure it has a Japanese language feature." he laughed and looked at his watch.
"You can email them to me!" he grinned and the glanced at the door to his work. "I'll be alright. I'm good at watching out for myself. But I got to get to work now. I'll send you a text later but I know you're busy or on stage. I hope to see your concert on DVD later because then I'd have the best seats wouldn't I? You'd be right there beside me giving me the play by play of your show. That will be fun. Now you take care of yourself. I've got to go inside. Ok." said Kou as he headed to the door.

"Yuuji-kun told me the other day that you've a small black poodle living with you right now." Akihiko spoke pleasantly, taking Ra from Izzy once Chiyou had touched the kitten.
Automatically is clambered up quickly and made itself comfy on the musician's shoulder.
"Ra enjoys sitting near your neck. Makes a rather good muffler. Asato got himself a cat and Ruki and I were babysitting it while he was in the hospital. We enjoyed it so much that we both thought we needed our own little balls of fur running around."
He heard his phone ringing and groggily grabbed it, sneezing in the process. "Moshi moshi..." Naoko groaned out, ending his greeting with a horrible coughing sound.
When the pianist realized it was Shou though, he blinked, scrambling for his glasses. "Ah, Shou-san... well... with me sick I thought it best to just stay at my place. I don't want you or Ko-kun to catch it. If..."
The words he had heard Shou the night before echoed in his head and the blond swallowed hard.
"If you want I can come back after I'm well... I didn't mean to upset you because yes I am happy there. I just... I didn't want to jeopardize the tour."
In truth though, Naoko felt wrong about going back to Shou's.
It seemed that everyone was a burden to the man... and the younger Oumori didn't want to add pressure.
"I should have left you a note. Gomen... it was late and I just wanted to go to sleep I..."

"Ah....I see. I thought you were just in your room. Mm...might be for the best then. But you had me worried. Even if you're sick I wouldn't want you to just run off like that." Shou said into the tablet as he walked out to the limo.
"Ko and I are going to....Ometosando Hills to get a new phone. Mine broke last night so I'm a little frustrated." He didn't explain why it broke. No, Shou didn't want to think about why the phone ended up being the victim of his frustrations.
"I'll be at the studio in a fair amount of time doing the PV. So why don't you take the day off and rest up. We can cut your scenes in after you see them. It won't be any problem." said Shou as the driver closed the door.
"Ometosando Hills Softbank and hurry. I want to be there before the crowds." yelled Shou to the driver then glanced at the tablet. "You just get some rest and everything will be alright. I'll have Hamu send someone buy with hot chicken soup. Talk to you tomorrow!"
The star hung up the phone and patted Ko on the leg. "This will be fun...yes maybe a little crazy but we'll be ok"

"Arigatou, Shou-san. Wait... your phone broke?" Naoko blinked, thinking for a moment. "Was that what I heard hit the wall last night?"
If it was well that explained the incredibly loud thud.
"Ah... be careful out there though. And if Ko-kun needs help on his homework he's free to call me. I've nothing better to do than sleep and eat soup it seems..." suddenly the blond sneezed. "And sneeze... ugh." he grabbed a tissue quickly from the bedside table. "My place was so damn cold when I got in... like a ice box. But it's warm and toasty in here now so I think I'll get a little more sleep and enjoy it. Won't have a day off again for a long while, ne?" he laughed... which turned into coughing.
"Gomen gomen. Have fun at Ometosando. Ja ne."
After hanging up, the poor pianist had a fit of sneezes one after another after another.
But still Shou's words from the night before never left his mind...
And with a sigh, Naoko laid back down and closed his eyes... wishing he'd just stayed in bed last night and never heard how his boss really felt.
The night before... after leaving Shou's and finding himself parked in an alley...
Ishihara got drunk.
And not just your regular drunk... oh no... he was practically s**t faced.
By the time he had finished, and wracked up a very big tab, he hailed a cab instead of even attempting to drive home. It took him a few tries to actually get up the stairs and into the apartment, but he did, by some miracle.
Luckily, You wasn't the sort of drunk to talk when inebriated. Nor was he the sort to cry and whine. When Ishihara got drunk, he got quiet... and dangerous... and sometimes found everything in the world hilarious... but only if he was wasted enough.
The shark fell through the front door, laughing softly at how clumsy he was when he couldn't really feel how his feet and legs worked. He kicked the door closed then hauled himself up with a chair nearby. Stumbling into the wall, Ishihara just kind of decided this was a great place to stop moving... and just slipped down it, resting his arms on his knees and his head on his arms.

"Big Bro!" the teen piped up, a huge, adorable smile on his face. He'd really become exceptionally sweet lately, and was obviously in high spirits about spending the evening with his friends. "Drink? Sure! Uhm...weird request...but do you have chocolate milk?" Hideki asked as he lifted the thin, stylish black cane he'd gotten to replace what he thought to be the tacky white one with the red tip that he'd been so reluctant to use. Tapping it gently on the ground to make sure he wasn't walking into a doorframe or anything, he stepped inside the house, already able to smell the delicious scent of pizza baking. Not really meaning to, his nose turned up and sniffed at the air. "Oh man...dinner is gonna be amazing..." Chiyou commented absently, licking his lips just as he tilted his head in the direction of footsteps. "Papa Ruki!" the blond turned and immediately hugged his former manager/former love interest, getting a chin full of fur on the process. "Ra and Tora?" Hideki repeated, almost as curious about the kittens as a kitten would be about him. Carefully, he reached forward and gently stroked the fur of both the kittens. "Hm? Oh, yeah...Yumi-chan. She's a good dog. Sometimes a little hard to deal with because she likes to run under my feet, but I've been teaching her to go get my phone for me if I misplace it at home. It's...a work in progress." he laughed, not wanting to go into detail about the successes and massive failures of some of his attempts toward total independence. "Hiroki-san got a cat?" Hideki seemed puzzled for a moment. "Didn't think he'd be a pet person...but yeah, I would definitely peg him as a cat person rather than a dog person." karada o tsutau ame ni furueru awai omoi guren no yuuwaku ni...samayou yoru ga akeru

Sadness sinks, and look, the night comes to an end.
Reading the last text from Naoko, Jun thought it better to just leave the conversation where it lay. He'd give the pianist a day, then get back in touch.
Still...little things poked and prodded at his brain. Hadn't Naoko been staying with Shou? Why was he sleeping in his own bed tonight? Was everything ok? Was Naoko safe? Was Shou alright?
All of these questions he couldn't ask without prying, but they still nagged at him, even as he got home and crawled into his own bed, falling into a fitful sleep.

Kou just seemed so sweet to Ryu. The more he wanted to be independent and avoid living off of him, the more the star wanted to lavish the young man with any and everything imaginable. "Alright. I'll get you the phone, and of course I'll make sure it's programmed for use in Japan. I'll email you lotsa pictures soon, and I'll be missing you the whole time I'm away. "Chocolate milk? Mmmm... I could make some. We have milk and we have chocolate syrup." Akihiko spoke, tapping his lip in thought before excusing himself for a quick moment.
He returned not a minute later with a glass of chocolate milk and a straw, which he set down at the living room coffee table. "It's over here for you when you sit down, Chiyou-kun." the musician laughed suddenly. "Yare yare... am I the only one who thought Asato would get a dog before a cat? Hmmm... but I'm supposing your teaching experiment with Yumi isn't going so well, is it? Has she brought you things other than your phone?"

Izzy gave the young man a hug the best he could with the kittens in hand, "My boy is already fat. Well he was fat when we got him but...Hiroki-san thinks he's going to be a huge cat."
Things were a little lighter when Akihiko took Ra. Tora seemed content to take up the space Ra vacated and sprawled over Izzy's arms. "Hah...Tora makes a full set of gloves when he is all over my arms. He likes to sleep on top of everyone especially Akihiko." Izzy winked at his partner as he watched Ra get comfy.
"Yes, he has a cat. A very wee cat that is black. Mm...I think his name is Chick Pea. It's a tiny cat. Hiroki-san was calling him Hi-chan." Izzy added then turned around. "We can go into the great room and have a seat since Akihiko's got your Chocolate Milk in there."
He glanced everywhere to make sure there was nothing that Chiyou could trip on down the hall. At least there was an open area for their great room. "So....what have you been up to lately?" Izzy asked Chiyou as he sat down on the couch and held Tora until Chiyou took a seat. "Everything is pretty much the same as last time you were here. Except we added a cat tower in the corner. There's a comfy chair to the right or you can come straight and the couch is there." Izzy didn't want to suddenly start being a nurse maid but he did offer a little guidance since it had been awhile since Chiyou had been to this home.

When Haru woke up, You wasn't in the room. It was very early and Haru was actually surprised. But when he pulled himself out of bed and found You passed out cold against the wall. His eyes widened. WTF? was his first thought. And then he checked immediately to make sure that You had a pulse. Fortunately there was one but the stink of alcohol reeked!
A frown smeared across Haru's lips as he crouched down then hauled You up and finally got him into his arms. This wasn't the way Haru expected to spend his morning. This was also NOT common for You at all.
As he lugged the man into the bedroom, he muttered to himself. "I don't know what you got into last night but this is really ridiculous, You." Haru was worried but he wasn't frantic. However, this definitely needed some very clear explanation once You was SOBER!
Carefully he settled the man into the bed and took off his shoes then removed the nasty smelling clothes. Haru glanced at his watch and then called up Shou's number only to get NO ANSWER! Oh good god! What now!?! Shou should have been awake and already going to work! So as Haru pulled off You's shirt, he voice dialed one of Shou's guards.
When the man picked up, he got an earful of Shou's latest adventure. No...no no... "Why the heck he in Ometosando's Softbank getting a PHONE right now! Do you have enough men. Flocking? Well get him out of there asap! No..one of you pick up that phone. I don't care. Get him in to the car with Ko and make sure that they don't get hurt."
Haru hung up the phone while holding the smelly shirt in mid air. This was NOT Haru's morning. And how the heck was You suppose to go to work like this? Haru rushed into the bathroom and grabbed asprin and water. Because his partner would definitely need this once he woke up.
Showering was a fast hands on experience and by the time he flew out of the bathroom he was back at his partner's side trying to figure out what to do with him.
Leaning down, he kissed You's forehead and whispered, "Aishiteru..."
