The only thing I'm keeping from anything of his previous self is prosthetics.
He will still have the "2 soul holes" for missing two souls, a mask (which I have never really settled on), and the ability to still rage blast a cero here and there.
For what he'll have from his Shinigami are the captain level flash step, and his "Shikai / Bankai" will be all forced into a single form very similar to Kimpachi.
He'll have no access to Shinigami spells but will have a list of his own spells which evolved and developed from the spell list he used to know. (since he used to be 5th Squad Captain.)
He is going to be cursed slightly from spending so much time as a hollow where he will be more of a hollow than shinigami but his original design made it so that his "inner hollow" was completely natural. Buru Riki was one of the first true Viazard within the guild. The first, I believe, was Fey and or Triox. Though as I said before, the hollofication will be nothing more than a prosthetic feature which will leave his entire body looking rather savage, more-so than it did in previous descriptions.
