Kain stepped out of the darkness in the rafters, then silently jumped behind the bar and began to gather food. It was unsure how much food to get, so it just grabbed as much as possible.

Blue eyes looked up from the words they were reading upon hearing noise. Soon she was aware of Kain's presence, but was confused by his actions. Rising from her seat, her book disappeared and she neared Kain and bobbed her head. "Good evening Kain. Searching for something?"

"Not looking, found." Kain said, still grabbing onto various food items. It stopped and seemed to look at her, then shook its head and stood. "I should be done now..." It jumped up into the rafter and made its wat to a large patch of shadows.

"Oh, that is good." she said softly, watching him continue to move. When he indicated that he was leaving, she was rather surprised that he would be leaving so soon and so suddenly. With a small pop she followed him in to the rafters, reaching her hand toward him for a moment before thinking better of it. Still, she had to know. "Kain, please wait .. Is Reeve going to be alright?" she asked softly, hoping he would stick around to answer.

Yawgmoth, as if on cue, entered the room from Crow's stairwell. He wore nothing but pants tonight, hoping to get into some sort of scrap with someone. His boredom was itching at him again, and waiting for Reeve was taking too long in his book. Upon hearing Ziven's words Yawgmoth interrupted. "Of course he'll be alright. Until he fights us. Then he won't be in such good of shape" Yawgmoth mocked yet again. Slithering his way towards the bar Yawgmoth found more of Ali's whiskey stash and started to pour another glass from a freshly opened bottle. The kick of this amber liquid had taken favor with Yawgmoth over the bitter sweet taste of red wine. He would have to go to Mercadia and buy some to repay Ali for drinking his stock.

"He is rather weak right now and he has blocked me from his mind. Other than that, he seems to be fine." Kain looked down to Yawgmoth. "Tomorrow my Master will go to the battle arena and wait for you. He will wait as long as it takes, and will be in perfect condition. He hopes you will be ready too." It looked at Ziven for a second. "Don't look for him." And with that it left.

Ziven shot an irritated glance toward Yawgmoth. She did not want them to fight until she had her answers. It was obvious that Kain wasn't going to be of any help. When he told her not to try finding Reeve, her temper flared. She wanted to follow him but could not because she did not know where he went and did not know the form of travel they used. Stalking across the rafters, she leaned against one of the support beams.
"'Don't look for him' he says, like I am one he should be scolding." she repeated what Kain said in a sarcastic tone, her anger still clearly at it's boiling point. Crossing her arms around her middle, her clothes had been flowing around her for the past few minutes. Out of frustration, she stood and then kicked the support beam, which cracked and began to slip, causing a portion of the roof to moan from the shift in weight.
Dropping her hands to her side, she sighed heavily in frustration and repaired the beam before jumping down. Feeling more frustrated than she could ever remember, she continued to pace around the bar until she laid eyes on Yawgmoth again. Now that she was on the floor, it was more obvious that her hair was not tinted blue as normal, but she did not bring any attention to this. Seating herself at the bar near him, she shot him a grumpy look.
"What are you drinking and do you want company." she said flatly, intending it to come as a question but clearly not in the mood to be her usual, polite self.

Yawgmoth's eyebrows arched watching her kick the support beam in. Where in the hell did she get that kind of strength? He did not detect it from her at all, nor did it appear she had the muscle strength pull off such a feat. She must've been enhancing her blows with mana Yawgmoth thought. Shrugging unimpressed he snickered at her first words and was about to say something until she asked him something else. He decided it best to answer both at once. "Oh really now, and who should he be scolding? Reeve? Us? Please. You really do know nothing of men." He said with a shake of his head tossing his fire red hair about. "We are drinking Aliator's whiskey right now and we could care less if you joined us or sat around being angry. It makes no difference. So suit yourself." Yawgmoth said as his tail shifted the barstool next to him outward, extended it to her almost. To leave it up to her if she wanted to grump about or sit down and drink.

Surprised that he would offer a chair for her. Accepting this gesture, she sat. His words did not help any, which frustrated her further, her clothes still rippling all around her. Leaning her right elbow on the counter top, she rested her forehead in that hand, letting her fingers run through her blonde locks. "An amazing observation on your part. Why not enlighten me about men instead of reminding me I know nothing? You folk run off when you're hurt or upset and come back without explanation of why. What is it that goes through your heads to not tell your women what is really going on in your lives once you return? Are you not aware of how it affects us? Perhaps not all women but many .." she said, still sounding grumpy. She did not care if this angered Yawgmoth, she would simply leave if he were to become upset.

Yawgmoth chuckled lightly. "You know girl you've got quite a lot of nerve talking to us like that. But no matter. If you want to know why Reeve runs away instead of talking to you, why don't you ask him. We meant real men. Real men stay and face their problems instead of running cowardly away from it. We tell Crow everything that goes on while we are not with her, and she does the same for us. It is what you call an honest relationship. Even if we are both inherently evil, we are least honest with one another. It is what binds us together forever." Yawgmoth explained pouring her a glass despite her smarting off. Yawgmoth was just glad to have an opponent set up now, he couldn't care less what insults the girl threw out. He would just laugh. After all they were only words, what he would do to her 'man' would prove far more devastating than what words she could use. "So you see, our observations of Reeve lead us to believe he is hiding something from you. Something he believes will drive you away. Whenever this something occurs to starts to build in his head, he runs, and when he returns, he blames the act upon some other force of the universe. This is why you two are destined to fail as a couple before it even begins." Yawgmoth said knocking back another glass. His tail swishing behind him rapidly. As if he were a dog and his owner had just come home or something. He was happy, a twisted kind of joy, but a joy all the same. He didn't think he'd be able to sleep knowing the violence of battle was just on the horizon. "We know women, better than we let off you see. When we want to be, we can be quite the gentlemen. We have manners, we have etiquette, we just...choose not to use them. When you are at the top of the ladder, you don't need to be formal to anyone, so why bother? And don't say because it's the right thing to do, or because it's "polite or nice" if you haven't already guessed, polite and nice aren't our personality. But the point is" Yawgmoth said turning to face her more so than just sipping whiskey at the bar. "He obviously knows how it affects you and yet choose to do so anyway. Why? Because he has something even worse he's hiding. This is, at least, our guess." Yawgmoth shrugged.

His words were true. Painfully true. But it was a pain she enjoyed hearing. Though it was not what she wanted, she felt sane again knowing that someone else, even a jerk like Yawgmoth, had observed the same. Wishing that she and Reeve could have a more open relationship, finding herself obsessing over things she had no control over, she drank the offered glass of whiskey.
Pulling a face, her entire body twitched at the sharp taste of the alcohol. She inhaled sharply and set the glass back on the counter top with a rather loud tap. Keeping a hand on the glass as she heard Yawgmoth continue, she liked and hated his following words. Such bittersweet night this was turning out to be.
"I know. Suppose it is only fitting that I seem to hurt him every time we meet." she said very quietly. Suddenly the glass in her hand shattered. Again she sighed at this action but instead of repairing it, she simply put both hands in her lap, staring at the shards, thinking they looked rather artful. "How annoying to keep breaking things. At least the glass looks nice when shattered. The light plays with it to make it look as if it were meant to be broken."

Yawgmoth's eyes arched in wonder again. First the beam now the glass? Was she bodybuilding in her spare time or something? He would ask. "Some say, there is no beauty in destruction" Yawgmoth smirked. "Know what? They're dead." He said with another snicker before pouring another glass. "One thing is bothering us, perhaps you will answer. From where do you draw the power to crack beams and shatter glasses without the aid of magic. Or perhaps, you are using magic, but in a way to augment your physical strength? How are you doing these things. You are..what's the word. Feeble? Lacking in pronounced muscle tone?" Unable to think of the appropriate word Yawgmoth pointed to his arm and flexed his huge arm causing the muscles to expand to quite a display. "You don't have this. Lack of this expansion power. We forget the word but you know what we mean. You have no muscles that form to show physical prowess, yet you are able to do these things. How?"

"I am angry and hurt." she said simply at first. Taking a deep breath, looked at him with an expression that said she was not intending to be short with him before elaborating.
"The beam was magic. As you well know, when I am feeling any extreme emotions, my body reacts. In that moment, I felt like breaking something and I did not believe the beam would crack but crack it it did. You have seen such before though usually only a gust of wind is created at my feet. Since I was focusing on being angry and wanting to see something break, it made all the difference.
The glass was my own hand. Must be these machines swimming through my blood still changing me. I did not believe the glass would break either .. perhaps there was a flaw in the material, I doubt I could repeat that action."
Finished with her explanation, she now examined her hand. Moving her fingers, she realized she felt quite sore from that. She hoped Yawgmoth would not be able to tell that she was not confident as she was trying to sound with her doubts. Very likely she could repeat that action on a whim. Perhaps she would test this later when alone.

Kain rose from the shadows in the rafters, though it kept it's distance from the people. Their presence, it seemed, would not be enough. Even though Reeve never fully let it into his head, it was always allowed just a bit... but now... It lowered its head and sat down, wondering what it should do now.

Tilting her head, she looked up at Kain. She was curious about why he was back already. "Kain?" she asked the shadowy creature.
