Cat, it's Elise and Izumi; Bardok stayed behind with Vain.

And speaking of gaming, I've been trying to find a cheap copy of this old DOS game that's based on a book: I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. If you're not familiar with either the game or book, I'd highly suggest checking either one out. (Fairly certain the p-bay still has a working download for the game)

The story is that during the Cold War the three major super powers developed super computers to control all their nukes. One super computer gains an A.I. and takes control of the other two, then releases all of the nukes, killing everyone in the world, with the exception of five people. These five people that the A.I. kept alive tortures them and sustains them for 109 years.

Really gritty stuff. It's also a nice change of pace because it's essentially designed to be a game you cannot win, in the common sense. Humanity is long dead, there's no bringing it back.

Sounds pretty neat. I'll have to check it out. Speaking of games, I'm happy to note when you start a second play through of ME2, you have all your guns and levels from the first run. I just wish they kept the paragon/renegade. Maybe they just accidentally over looked it. I also wish you could change your class like you could after importing an ME1 character. I wanted to try an Adept while I had 26 levels under my belt. Also, when you play it, Vain the second you have access to loyalty skills get Armor Piercing rounds. That means, getting Garrus(Archangel) and completing his loyalty challenge ASAP. Then spending the Element Zero on taking skills. It's probably one of the most useful "skills" in the game, specially when upgraded to Tungsten rounds.

Since we get two skills, I need to see if I can change the other one I chose in the first run. I don't remember what I took, probably Cryo rounds, but still. I wanna get Warp Ammo and Shredder Rounds and try them out.

Also, anyone seen Toy Story 3 yet? My analysis is that it was made for those of us who grew up with Toy Story. Not the little kids of today. It was one hell of a dark movie. It had characters that creeped the hell out of me. As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't take a child to see it because I'm 90% sure it would lead to nightmares.

The intro to I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream. The super computer is actually voiced by the author of the original book himself; comes off a bit hammy, but it fits.

Still gatta see Toy Story 3. Probably going to see it with the whole gang this week.

The comments on that story are hilarious though.

Also, Toy Story 3 was indeed ******** brilliant. Honestly one of the best movies of all time. However, seeing it in 3D did nothing for the experience.

I never really got into the Toy Story movies.
And that article was bullshit, I can honestly say that this mess shouldn't have even gotten this bad. I was in NOLA last week for a party in the French Quarter, and you can smell the ******** oil everywhere. It's really nasty, and uncalled for. BP Oil and our dumbshitter of a government need to get their act together

On a less bitchy note, how is everyone this morning? lol

Speaking of the oil spill:

Like I said, it was an amazing piece of work. It provided a perfectly dark and sad yet happy end to the series.

I've come to the realization that 3D really doesn't do much. Avatar in 3D at Imax was no different than Avatar in my living room aside from the gargantuan screen.

Also, Avatar in my opinion didn't even compare to Toy Story 3. Graphically it was an amazing movie. Story and character wise; it was awful. It could have been so much more had they elaborated on the reason for needing the Unobtanium and the neural network of Pandora. It could have been a real thought provoker. Instead it's just Pocahontas and Gone With The Wind in space.

OMFG, Unobtanium? Talk about idea copies. Unobtanium was the metal used to make the ship used to get to the center of the earth in the movie The Core.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 22, 2010 1:29 am

Maybe that's why the needed it. GO INTO SPACE! GATHER A SUBSTANCE KNOWN AS UNOBTANIUM! WE NEED IT TO DRILL INTO THE CORE! WE MUST SAVE OUR WORLD! A TREELESS WORLD APPARENTLY! NO WONDER THE CORE STOPPED!

Evil jack asses go to Pandora, get their a** whooped because they forgot the tanks and artillery cannons and get sent back to Earth only to find that the core has cooled and the entire planet is dead.

OK, so Am'lock is going to be a nuisance for the next few days in the RP. He being a Sorcerer of Tzeench; he's going to spend his time trying to get characters to defect. He is a master of plots after all. So he'll pop in every now and then and explain things. So now would be the time to gather the information as to how Kyosuke was resurrected.

That should be interesting, especially now that The Silver Ones have begun taking the Pillars back into Nothingness. I also actually plan on bringing Honey back into the story later on, but her memory will have once again been locked

I have a few interesting ideas lined up, but it'll be awhile before any of them really take effect.

And as much as Avatar sucked, it DID have one amazing thing about it: the villain. Seriously, that guy was just so bat s**t insane and tough that he puts Clyde to shame.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3jzpHHtCYo My full thoughts of Toy Story 3. (Youtube eats my video quality...)

He was bat s**t but was he really a villain? Without the back story we don't know why he was so bat s**t about getting that ore. Without that he's just some bat s**t crazy guy with lots of dudes with shitty mechs and big guns.

Finally got my Terminator squad. Gonna use it to model a Horus figure since I only use four Chosen Terminators routinely. Box comes with five of them. Also, regardless of what you think of Justin Bieber, this is an EPIC remix of on of his songs. I hate the kid's music. So you know it's gonna be good.
