Raven shook her head and stood up walking to her room and curling up on the bed her staff propped up against the wall, falling asleep almost automaticaly.

Kain brought its hand to its face. There was an odd sound, then a sudden snap. It turned to Ziven and tilted its head. "Why? Why are you so compationate? Why do you feel this way for my master? Why mourn over the dead?"

Shrugging her shoulders a bit, she took another sip of her tea before replying. "When it comes to the possibility of dying for one you are fighting beside, that is a reality I have been aware of for a long time. Being a part of my masters lives as I was, we assumed that I would suffer the same fate as they if they were to die in my presence. As is true for all Riders and Dragons, if one dies, the other will surely die or lose their mind. However .. " she paused for a moment with a small giggle. "I have already lost my mind and then regained my sanity from leaving them, I suppose my next challenge with them is to see how I would react if in their presence if they die. I would willingly lose my life on their behalf knowing this bond we share is real. I feel that if I ever found another to love, I would feel the same. And Reeve .. I feel this way for him. I truly do though it is different for my master. My fear is not of Reeve but the idea of losing Reeve or he realizing that he does not care for me deeply." Stopping herself, she leaned back on the side of the couch, wiggling her feet freely, looking rather childlike in that moment. She did not know how to express herself on these matters. Never knowing what it is to have family nor what it truly is like to love anyone but her master that deeply, she wondered if she was making any sense, wondered if anyone else could possibly feel the way she did but did not wish to ponder the philosophy of it with Kain. With a small sigh, she answered more like one would expect an elf to reply. "Mourn may not be the correct word I suppose .. to remember, to honor their memory, to acknowledge that there is a loss in my life without them but continue to move forward."

Kain was about to say something, but Reeve suddenly sat up. He was silent for a moment before finally speaking. "Kain... get me something to drink..."

The cup in her hands disappeared immediately knowing that Reeve was awake. Spinning on to her knees, she peeked her eyes over the arm rest to have a look at him. Timidly she spoke to him, thinking he would be angry with her. "Are you feeling alright?"

"I'm fine, just have a headahe... and its rather hard to breath." Reeve brought his hands to his face and felt the mask. He removed it carefully, showing he wore a smile once again. Sitting up, he patted the seat next to him. "Come, have a seat." Kain brought the bottle to him, then sank into the shadows again.

Slowly she rose from the floor and took the few steps around the couch to his side. As she did this, her clothes changed on instinct as she took a seat next to him. Turning toward him, she spoke softly. "My apologies, I hope you are feeling fully recovered soon. Please, if there is anything I can do, anything you require, let me know so I may have the opportunity to help."
(Ooc: sorry for the late reply, I passed out sweatdrop Didn't realize I was that sleepy!)

((I'm suprised it didn't already get buried by other posts. o.O))
Reeve yawned for a moment as he listened to her. "You can sit here and talk to me for a little bit." He said with a smile as he opened the bottle. "Lets play the question game. You ask me any one question that you really want to know about me, and I'll ask you one." He brought the bottle to his lips and took a couple of gulps as he stared blankly to the wall. Though he had regained his senses, he still did not appear to be fully aware of everything like he normally was.

Tilting her head, she felt it was a bit curious to offer up a game right after having been ill but she decided to go with it. Not being very good with games, she took the offer rather literally. "How are you now? Not just how are you as in mood, but how are you really? Mentally, physically .. all that."
(Ooc: 'tis "hump day" - rds is usually rather inactive in the middle of the week ^^;; )

"How am I?" Reeve chuckled a bit. "Physically, I am fine. Mentally... Well, my brain is a bit cloudy right now, but it'll pass. I think the liquor has something to do with it being cloudy too." He sloshed the bottle, hearing the the bottle was already about half empty. Just from a couple of drinks he had already drained half the bottle. "I believe it is my turn..." Taking another drink, he thought for a moment. "What made you fall for me?" (("Hump day?" o.O Well thats an interesting name.))

Staring at Reeve for a moment, she did not realize what he was asking at first but strung two thoughts together. Lips turned upward slightly to a shy smile and she found it impossible to meet his eyes, even if he could not see her. "I value kindness and enjoy mystery .. your kind actions toward me and the mystery of .. well, of you .. I wanted to know you more, still do. Knowing you is intoxicating." she said softly. She felt it was rather brave to ask such a question. She was not one to preach about health to others, but hearing the sloshing of the half empty bottle concerned her. "Perhaps now would be a good time to switch to water." she said, conjuring a glass of water, which she offered to his free hand. Blushing slightly, she continued on. "I .. Rather, my next question is to reflect yours; Wh-why .." Inhaling deeply, she found it difficult, nearly impossible to ask, especially in that way. All she managed was; "W-why .. me?"
(Ooc: yes, joke/work term for Wednesday - if you make it to wed, its the middle of the week, fri is soon to come and if you think of mon as the beginning of a hill and fri as the other side ... sweatdrop *feels old* sweatdrop )

((Haha, I get it. Nice term, I'll need to tell it to some of my friends.))
"Kind and mysterious eh? Never thought anyone would ever think of me as kind." Reeve turned to her and smiled as he put the lid back onto the bottle. "If that is what you wish." Gently he took the glass of water and drank a bit of it. He was quiet for a moment as he thought of the answer. "I well for you because you seemed to care for me right away. Your mind works in ways I can't even comprehend, and yet you seem to understand me." He drank the rest of the water and set the glass down. "You seemed to worry about me before you even really knew me, and have always been very kind... and the more I learn about you the more I want to learn." There was silence for a moment as he thought of his next question. "What... What was our first thought when my sister told you about what I do in battle?"

The sound of boots clicking against the stone echoed up from the all too familiar archway. Breaking into the light Yawgmoth came in, just in time to hear of them being disgustingly cutesy over each other. What saps he thought. Listening to them for a moment Yawgmoth happened to hear Ziven ask Reeve why her, Reeve's answer caused Yawgmoth to laugh aloud. Leaning against the archway Yawgmoth's blunt honestly got the better of him and he blurted out. "Oh come on. Why don't you be honest and tell the poor girl you caught interest when you saw her face and found out no man had ever been between her legs so you wanted to be the first to nail such a pretty young girl." Yawgmoth said wiping his eyes free of the water that had welled up in them from his laughter. Honestly, as if there was more to relationships at first than pure attraction. Anyone who thought otherwise was kidding themselves. Yawgmoth headed to the bar and proudly displayed his reasons for such a choice of words. It was clear what he and his beloved Crow had been doing. Fresh claw marks were lined along his back with two puncture wounds in his neck and numerous teeth marks about his exposed chest area. The blood that slowly leaked from these wounds had long since dried but Yawgmoth had opted to let them fester, and display them as something of a badge of honor instead of letting his body's natural regeneration take care of them. He poured a tall glass of whiskey shaking his head at the duo over there. With another chuckle the dark king downed the glass and turned to face them.

Blushing furiously, she again felt very strongly like running away or hiding herself against him but she refused to give in to either of those desires. Instead she gently wrapped her hands around his arm, hoping this would show her support for him but not bother him. "As I said earlier, I desire happiness for all. Whether or not I might be able to help with that is another issue." she said softly. Listening to the rest of his words, she did not know what to say. Instead she waited for the relief of his next question which was considerably easier for her to answer. Gently she leaned her head against his shoulder, smiling blissfully. "I wondered if it would be different if you had someone beside you so you would remember you are not alone, there is someone who will aid you, even in the most dire circumstance." she said softly, finishing by giving his arm a gentile squeeze.
Sensing Yawgmoth's approach, she decided to try to keep her focus on Reeve. However when he spoke, she immediately was hit with a wave of emotions. Her back stiffened visibly and her grip on Reeve's arm changed from gentile to quite firm. Though she had half a mind to tell him off, she instead closed her eyes, waiting to hear from Reeve or more inane babbling of their personal affairs from Yawgmoth.

"Mr. Yawgmoth, your forget I'm blind, so looks really don't matter much to me. As for the 'no man had been in between her legs' part, that was never brought up, so that really the first time I've heard about it." Reeve chuckled a bit as he felt Ziven's grip tighten. "Not everyone is quite as shallow as you are."
His attention went back to Ziven, his smile still very present. His white eyes seemed to have some life in them once again. "I suppose that would have changed things, but not anymore. I am what I am, and what is doen is done."
