Shadowy Lunatic

Without another word, his lips locked around Crows the two of them vanished to her dungeon.

"Certainly not anger." she replied immediately, not moving. Inhaling deeply, she considered his next words. "Yes, uneasiness, fear, question .. yet .. longing, desire to remain close despite feeling like I should run." Leaning her head against him again, she spoke again very softly, only he would be able to hear and just barely at that. "My apologies for speaking such nonsense."

"Fear?" Reeve said quietly in a barely audible voice. Why was she afraid of him? Had he done something to scare her? Were his words that frightening? The more he tried to make sense of it in his head, the less he understood. He stayed quiet, his mind in another place now. Slowly he began to remember things he had been suppressing, thoughts he never wanted think came forth in his mind. He sealed himself off from everything, lost in his own mind.

The shadows behind Reeve began to shake violently and out stepped Kain. it had sensed distress from its master for a meer second before being completely shut out. It seemed to scan the room for a moment before seeing Reeve and Ziven. "What has happened?"

"I do not fear you." she said softly. Sensing turmoil from him for a moment, she realized her observations were right when Kain appeared. Slowly she felt tears burn at her eyes but she did not let this show. Looking up to him, she touched his face gently. "My apologies for upsetting you." she said gently to him, ignoring Kain.

It was too late. Reeve had wrapped himself inside of his mind, feeling emotions he kept hidden within himself all at once. Memories of the past burned into his mind. The smells, the sounds... His grip on Ziven loosened completely and he sat on the ground, his face blank. His hair no covered his eyes and energy seemed to escape from him. the ground underneath him slowly started to decay, as if his energy was killing it.

Kain seemed to watch what was happening and soon walked over to his master. It pulled a blank face mask out of its cloak and secured it onto its master's face. "Ziven, what did you do? What happened?"

Watching the reaction from Reeve worried Ziven deeply. She turned to Kain numbly as he came in to view, placing the mask on Reeve. Dropping to her knees, she looked at Kain with worry and apology. "H-he said he cared for my happiness and I feel odd when he says such things. I described to him what I felt, how I felt .. I think he misunderstood. Reeve repeated 'fear' and then .." she looked to him tearfully, realizing that he was not well at all. Gently she rested a hand on his leg. Why! Why did she always seem to hurt everyone she cared about?

Kain picked Reeve up and moved him onto the couch. "It was partially my fault. If you mentioned fear, then he probably remembered what happens when he loses control of himself." The figure turned around to Ziven, its voice cold. "I told him that Ryane told you about one particular incident when he lost control. My master does not enjoy those times, and remembers them vividly. By mentioning anything about being afraid of him, he probably started to think about them again. Worry not, it will pass soon." It sat on the floor next to the couch, the energy seemingly not bothering it. "I would not reccomend touching him though. The magiks that hold his body react when he is like this and kill whatever they touch. If you look at him closely, you will be able to feel the absence of life that surrounds him."

Lifting herself from the floor again, she followed after Kain as he moved Reeve to a couch. Resting on the floor again near to the couch. Drawing her legs up to her chest, she wrapped her arms around her knees, feeling helpless. "Am I to assume there is nothing I can do to help?"

"I suppose that I could beat him ferociously until he woke up, then you could try to stop him from killing everyone he gets his hands on..." Kain said as it pulled a peice of candy from its cloak. "... Or we can wait untill he wakes up." It brought the candy under the hood. It turned its head away from her, and for a moment there was a ripping sound, then some crunches from the candy. A very dark, snake-like voce could be heard actually coming from Kain. "Want some?"

Slowly she lowered her head to rest on the palm of her hand. A slow shuddering breath could be hears before she replied. "Of course not, leave him to rest." she said softly. Turning to him with question, she was surprised to se Kain eat something. "No, thank you. I did not think you ate anything."

"Of course I eat things. Though I was not created through natural process, I am still alive. My master simply does not like me eating in front of people." Kain said as it took another candy. It had its head turned so that the process of eating could not be seen and another loud cruch could be heard. "Rayne made me eat something called a 'mint' the other day. Though not as good as fleash, it does make me feel somewhat odd."
PostPosted: Tue Apr 10, 2007 11:59 pm

Smiling, she giggled a bit and then turned away from him. "Well then, I shall turn this way. That way you are having mints behind me, not in front of me. If you would like something else to eat or drink, let me know." she finished cheerfully, conjuring herself a cup of mint tea to calm her nerves a bit despite being worried for Reeve's well being. She felt selfish for this but she was really worried and happened to be thirsty. Because of this, she felt the need to justify herself even though she reminded herself that Kain was having candy, so it should not be too bad if she had tea. "I want to remain by his side. Even at times like this."

Raven walked back into the inn her staff now strapped to her back, the fight had eased the anger she felt but it still showed through.
She took out her flash and handed it to a bartender to fill it up and then asked for a room she could stay in for the night. Handing over several coins and in return taking back her flask and a room key.
She walked over to one of the free coaches and sat down putting her staff beside her.
Hearing the sound of crunching she looks around for it's sorce.

Kain put another candy in its mouth. The cloak it wore hid it from view almost competely and it did not seem to give off any form of energy, not even a life signature. "And what will happen when he dies?" It asked as it crunched the candy. "I don't suppose you will follow him in death. Will you forget about him one day? Will you mourn him the rest of your existance?" Despite having moments of warm heartedness, Kian was a creature that needed the answers it wanted. If that ment hurting a person's feelings, then so be it.

"Depending on the circumstances surrounding his death, it is a possibility that I would follow him in death and if I were not, yes I would mourn him for the rest of my life - perhaps not every day but his memory, my longing to be with him would certainly remain." she replied plainly. Taking a sip of her tea, she frowned at herself, feeling that her answer was lacking but did not know how to say it better so she left it as is.
