Shaking her head, she blushed, feeling both embarrassed and frustrated. "Reeve most certainly is someone to me now. Before him, I had no one. My master, though I care very much for them and they for I, is .. for lack of a better explanation 'done' with me. I have nothing more to learn from them and though we have a bond like no other, there is not much reason for they and I to be together unless either are in need of something." she said, pausing to look at Rayne with a neutral expression. "You are correct. We three share common beginnings. At this moment, both of you and I are removed from our masters, yes. The difference is you have Reeve whom you can turn to and he has you. That is the difference. I have made a few friends in this place, and I am very grateful. The way I feel for Reeve is .. indescribable, I know not where I would be without him today." stopping again for a moment, she looked to Rayne with a lost, pleading expression. "Does this make sense?"

"No, it doesn't." She said camly as she pulled a cartton of Clove cigarettes from her boot. "You see, you say that Reeve is someone, and yet you discard him when the subject turns to who 'you can turn to.' Yes, him and I may share a bond; but so do you and him. You are either overlooking something, or you don't feel for my brother as much as you say you do." She looked at the tip of the Clove, causing it to ignite. She then put it in her mouth and breathed in.

David glanced up and a small bubble of water encased the lit part of the cig, extinguishing it immediatly. He then started to play "Never Mind Me" by Big & Rich. If you see me on the street, lookin' like I ain't slept in a week, hey Don't worry baby Find me closing down the bar, catch me crawlin' to my car, her Just look the other way And if I'm by myself with a twisted face fillin up on comfortable space
[Chorus] Never mind me (I'll be just fine talkin' to myself) Never mind me (Sittin' all alone inside my personal hell) I'm just doing fine Never mind me
Well if you can't comprehend why I'd be kissin' your best friend, her Just keep on walkin' baby 'Cause when you're sittin' on the edge of a twenty story ledge, oh Well don't try to save me, no I'm probably lookin' at tje sky just tryin' to find a reason why
[Chorus]
Don't remind me I'm not crazy Don't rewind me and replay me I'm just fine
[Chorus]

"I shall put it another way .. I care deeply for Reeve but in a way I have never felt for another before. I worry that he too will find one day that he is 'done' with me and .. and then what? Clearly the answer is that I will be on my own entirely again, having only my memories of the time spent with him and the hope that I may find peace through other means in the future." she said resolutely. "Reeve will have you even if I am not in is life. Perhaps I worry to much about the possibilities that may come but this is who I am. I think of many ideas, many possibilities and try to prepare. I do not want to come between you two any more than I already have .. and for you both to be happy." she finished, again thinking she did not make any sense. she looked to Rayne with quiet question.

"You worry too much." she said as she exhaled a nice smelling smoke and looked at the Clove. "And Reeve won't always have me. Our time together is short spent with him always trying to find power and I always wanting reason." She pulled another Clove from the box. "Then we have to start on the missions we were sent to do..." She stopped herself from saying anymore. The missions were a secret, even from one another. She had no idea what Reeve would have to do one day. "The point is, eventually we will lose touch again, and that'll be that. I tend not to dread that day, if I do it'll make the days I spend with him rather sad." She inhaled the smoke from the Clove. "Will you please tell your friend not to put this one out, they help calm me down."

With a small sigh, she nodded her head, accepting what Rayne said. The last part rather took her off guard but she quickly sorted out what she meant. Turning to David, she gave him a stern look. "Well, you heard the lady. Leave her be."
(Ooc: David got booted or signed off or something, fyi sweatdrop )

"Thank you..." she said as she blew out more sweet smelling smoke. "Now, where was I before I got side tracked..." she asked herself as she tried to sort through her thoughts.

"I believe you asked me if I have seen Reeve fight, to which I answered no." she said softly, turning back to Rayne but kept her eyes down, looking at her cup of tea.

"Word of advice then: Don't." she said simply as she took in another breath of smoke.

Shrinking in her chair, she had to know just one thing. "Why?"

She sighed as smoke came from her mouth. "'In battle, he is naught but a monster.'" She replied, quoting her fathers words. "The Reeve you know has his humanity, what makes him him. He's caring, sweet, knowledgeable... all that stuff. But when it comes to matters of life and death..." She shivered a bit. "That is why Kain follows Reeve so. A monster following an even greater monster..." She took a long drag from the Clove.

Hearing her explanation, she wondered just exactly how this was. It rather sounded exactly as she feared of herself given her limited experience with being in anything resembling battle or survival. "How so? What happens?"

"My daddy broke him. A human mind is fragile, and my dad wanted to see it's limitations. Both he and his dragon tortured Reeve through his mind, then set him in the middle of a demon infested town." She took another drag as she spoke, not even exhaling the first. "Put in that situation, Reeve went into pure instinct. All his hatred... suffering... doubts... all rolled into one killing machiene. He used magick to make himself stronger and faster, ignoring the limitations of his own body. He sliced through everything, using his hands like dull blades." Her hand was shaking a little bit as she spoke; her gaze was stuck on one spot. "It was like he felt no pain, and death was too afraid to claim him. He used spells on some creatures that ate them alive slowly... many forbidden magicks were used. Once he was done, he went to a place were there were innocence and killed them too. My dad had to stop him, and even that seemed almost impossible..."

The sound of something heavy drudging up the stone stairwell that lead deep down into the bowels of the RDS to the dungeon of Crow echoed upward into the main room. A pair of black boots rung out on the stone until the furious Yawgmoth entered the archway breaking into the light. He was clearly not in any kind of mood to be around the living, the expression on his face said he was angry over something. If anyone had been around the night before they would see why, seeing more than the expression but the markings and whited out left eye upon his face. It was apparent he had failed to figure out what was going on with his body and that must have been the cause of his rage. The cracked black lines ran from under his whited out left eye to his left shoulder and down the arm to the elbow where it stopped. He wore no shirt so the markings were visible to everyone along with his imposing physique. Snarling Yawgmoth spotted two people and like an animal sent out a 'warning signal' so to speak by causing the dark energy within him to swell large enough to put a heavy pressure into the air of the room making it harder to breathe for the weak. The pressure lifted as Yawgmoth ducked behind the bar grumbling. At least he hoped, the two would get his drift and leave him alone.

What felt like a cool breeze passed through the bar, rushing over everyone's feet. But for anyone familiar with magic would realize it was energy and anyone who knew Ziven would realize it had come from her if they were observant enough to see her clothes were moving now, a clear indication that she was feeling a strong emotion. "I see, thank you." was all she could manage before essentially being interrupted by Yawgmoth. Blue eyes observed him with a stern calmness for a moment but she said nothing.
