Leon was glaring at peng as he spoke, though his eyes showed conflict. "Yes... they raised me. You have saved my life many times, and Quyen was the closest thing to my family I ever met. But you guys are not my family. Peng, I still have a few precious memories of being with them, and meeting them made me happier than anything else ever had. Trying to tell me this place is my family is like Stockholm Syndrome. Maybe I would have been able to think of this place as my family if they didn't hide my real family from me!" He was shaking a little, but more from sadness than anger. "Peng I know how much I owe you for saving me. But the fact you take their side on this is betrayal. Maybe you've forgotten what it's like to love your family. Apperently family doesn't mean anything to you. There's no point in fighting in the world if you can't fight for what you want." He was going to move forward to strike but stopped when Madeline appeared. He glared at her. "Are you going to tell me the truth about my family or are you going to convince me to calm down and stop. Choose wisely." He was tired of this.

Madeleine walked towards Leon and kneeled infront of him (if he's standing then she is standing). She remained quiet for some time before touching his face gently then hugging him, "please.....Leon there is so much we need to talk about...here is not the place. I've spoken with Nero, he wants us to be in a room with no one else just you and me and talk. Not even Peng is allowed to be in the room."

Leon just stood there as he was hugged. He pushed her back gently, but he had calmed down if only a tiny bit. "Fine. We can talk. That's it though. Lead the way." He said taking a deep breath. This was their last chance. If she didn't tell the truth he was leaving. He idely wondered whys he trusted him so much.

"I... Will NEVER forget my family. HOW DARE-"
Peng felt Madeline pass him, and though the fist with his sword was shaking, he sheathed the sword, breathing heavily, trying to compose himself once more. He waited, almost expected Leon to harm her. But was surprised when Madeline mentioned Nero, and his blessing to tell her. So he wasn't allowed in the room, Nero's orders?... Peng took one final breath. It was odd; Peng wasn't really breathing, but the gesture he got so used to in life really soothed him in death. If Nero thought this was the best thing to do, then he would respect Nero's wishes. For what he was concerned, he wasn't going to stoop to Leon's level and end up fighting like rabid creatures. Leon and Peng would never see eye to eye, and that was all there was to that.
Nero appeared behind Leon, and he looked at the two of them, and then at Peng. "Wait here for my order."
"Y-yes sir," Peng replied with little hesitation.
Nero looked back at Leon, and smiled at the boy. "Hello son, its good to see you again. Why don't I lead you two to a room?"

Madeleine nodded releived that there was enough human left in him that he was able to not rip her apart. As she got cloer to Peng she looked at him and whispered, "i will find a way to murder your soul if you screw this up". She didn't care if Nero heard her, she had had enough of Peng and Leon fighting

Leon looked back at nero with a weird mix of emotions. "As you wish sir." He said formally. He wasn't afraid of Nero, even though he knew he could kill him easily. But Nero was strange, he wasn't sure how he felt about him. Nero never was against him finding out. Nero simply didn't concern himself with it. As far as Leon was concerned, not caring was better than refusing to help. He better get the answer at the end of all this. As they were walking her turned to nero. "So what happens if I want to leave the order?" He asked plainly. He wanted to hear the truth from the higher up, not peng and his twisted sense of priorities.

Nero started walking them to a secluded area where they would be alone, save for the protection that would be just outside, just in case. "It depends on how close you are to the core of the Order. Also, there are exceptions depending on certain things. So its hard to say for everyone. You in particular, Leon, it would mean death, or at best, complete eradication of everything you know and relocation. But that second option would only be because Peng has fought for that right to you. To be honest, the census was to kill you a while back, but Peng has been the sole voice in keeping you alive. Well, I've been convinced at one point and also aided Peng's argument. The short answer, Leon, is that I don't know. It depends on the majority, and what would be safest for the Order and innocent people. It may seem extreme, but perhaps you will understand after this."
Nero opened the door to a plain gray room. No doors except for this one, no windows, but there were two comfy chairs, a table, and a red button behind one of the chairs. Madeline would be the only one to know what the button was for. It was what she would have to push for anyone to know she was in danger and had to call backup. "Here you are. Complete seclusion. I'll be waiting right outside until backup arrives, but I'm very busy so I won't be here long."

Leon sighed. He expected the answer. Either way was the same. Death or loss of everything he was. Neither one sounded too appealing. He doubted that he would live till tomorrow at this rate. He sat down at his chair, waiting for madeline to speak. If she had a good answer, he'd find a way to work things out at the order. Perhaps a new mentor. Otherwise he'd probably be killed. If the answer still wasn't good, well. He wasn't sure they would both make it out of the room alive. Before nero left Leon called out. "If this does work out and by some miracle I'm not killed. I want a new partner."

Madeleine tried to block out what was being said by Nero it was something she didn't want to think about. She was determined to help Leon she was tired of her group not sticking with this and cutting out. She saw Leon would have an amazing career in anything if they could help him and save him. She pulled his file from the bag she had around her, the bag she never took off unless she was sleeping and such.
"thank you sir" she said sitting down in a chair and taking the file out she looked over at leon, "Here is how this is going to go. I have a few things I want to say and then I will hand you this file.....its your file. Its the truth and then you have a choice you either accept it and we can talk and go from there or you can kill me.................I am not going to watch what will happen to you happen. Do you understand?" she said her voice shaking a bit as she fought back her tears or once.

"Well..." Nero replied, "If you'd like, but... Well, I'll see what I can do."
Nero left the room, leaving the two alone. He closed his eyes. 'Peng, I need you here.'
Peng arrived soon after.
"Leon wishes for someone else to watch over him."
Peng felt his chest rise, but nodded. "I understand. With all due respect sir, I'm not... Exactly the type to lead. But I... Appreciate the attempt."
"Are you okay with letting Leon go?"
"... If that's what he wants," Peng replied.
"I only ask, Peng, because there is only one other person that I would be able to give the job to. We're low of tutors and leaders, what with... What's soon to come. Perhaps it would be best to put you, my best, into the field of battle. But..."
"I understand, Nero."
"Ambre."
"YOU CAN'T." Peng's eyes shot open, and he looked at Nero. "Anyone else, isn't there anyone else?"
Nero closed his eyes and shook his head. "No one else is qualified, Peng, I have no other choice. I know you don't like him, but you have to admit he's much stronger in leadership. And with that power he has-"
"Lieutenant, with all due respect... I have to admit I think this is a horrible situation."
Nero sighed, "I know. But perhaps this will work. Like cooking, two things that are alone detestable, when put together, can make the seasonings of an extravagant meal."

Leon looked at the file. "Fine. I'll listen." He said. What was in the file? What could possibly be so bad about them? Honestly, Leon couldn't think of anything that would make him hate his family and want to be kept secret. "So what are you going to say?" He asked, waiting.

"You told me earlier today that you don't like being pitied so stop acting like a pity party. I'm sorry your family hasn't been around I really am but be glad you have memories...........I don't remember my father or my mother all I have are the stories people tell me and the pictures. What you said to Peng you are so wrong about.....but that is a whole nother story that is his choice to share," she said softly before laying his file on the table and sliding it over to him. She sat back and waited, the file said the following (of course this is condensed version) Leon was the target of a creature of darkness wishing revenge on the Order and, especially, Leon's parents. Its lying dormant in Leon, feeding off of his wild and angry behavior, becoming stronger the more out-of-control Leon gets. The parents decided they would kill Leon, to spare that on their son and on the innocent, but the Order saw potential in Leon to be good, so they erased Leon from his parent's memory to save his life and to try and teach him to control the demon within him. The idea was once they did that, they were going to reunite Leon with his parents. But if the demon inside him proved to be too powerful, then Leon would have to be killed. Because the demon inside him is among the most terrifying creatures of darkness and would have the power to kill anyone.

Leon read the article, shocked. He wasn't sure how to react to this. A demon inside of him? One more powerful than him? Is that why he always feels such anger? And they kept this from him? "They wouldn't tell me this? If I knew... I could have spent time to relax. I could have practiced against this." He said, slamming his fist down on the table which shattered into many pieces. He took a deep breath. He stared at madeline. "Thank you." he mumbled honestly. He was glad she told him the truth. It was hard to believe, but he knew it was actually true deep down. "Nero!" He roared out loudly, standing up. He knew nero would know if he was called.
