*Her eyes dropped to the water as her arms gently let go of him. Her head gently rested on his chest, giving a sigh and then saying*
"You really didn't answer my question....but do you still have feelings for her?" *She asked in curiosity as those chestnut eyes looked up into his. His initial response made her nervous, and she assumed that his feelings for pale were keeping him from showing his deepest desires. She hugged him tightly and said*
"Sorry...I really just have to know"

" It's alright, I believe you have a right to these questions. Yes Kasumi, I do have feelings for her. I might have at one point really been in love with Pale." He steeled himself to meet her eyes and keep her gaze.
"But I do not want to care for her. I avoid her now.... and think about you. I want to be able to forget what I've felt, to convince myself it was foolish." He returned her hug so that he could no longer see her face and know what she was thinking.

I want to be able to forget what I've felt, to convince myself it was foolish." He returned her hug so that he could no longer see her face and know what she was thinking. *Her eyes fixed apon the water. She didn't know what to really feel any more. Aes still had feelings of Pale, and by the way he had said it, those feelings were stirred whenever he saw Pale. Was she his second choice? Would he prefer Pale over her? Sure he tried to block pale out,but how well was it working? All of these questions would have to be left unanswered, she thought, looking back up to him, trying to put on a smile.* Could...we go home? Suddenly I'm not in the mood for a swim.

"Kasumi..." he choked out weakly. He didn't want to antagonize things, so he nodded, and rose up onto the banks, helping her out and setting off for home.

Aes stepped into the clearing with Kasumi. It was quiet. He turned back to her "Deer, Pheasants, Boar? I don't think you can digest monoke."

"Deer....no" *Kas said as she made her way into the clearing and said* "I...really have a thing against killing defenseless animals. Boar is probably the most I'm comfortable with" sweatdrop

*Kasumi said as she abandoned her sence of smell and tried to spot them. Climbing up the base of a tree, she would rest on a low branch concealed with leaves, making sure she was down wind before poking her head out.* "Ooh! There's two about 20 yards away...by the river"

For continuity, using magic and hunting skills many boars were killed. They were brought back to the practice for dinner that day.
