Zy still slept as he heard the tune, but he raised his head and kissed her cheek as she hummed, his lips searching for hers.

she turned so her lips touched his, one of her hands coming up and stroking his cheek gently.

shaon soon, too, fell asleep, Zy held carefully against her. her back to the water in case something jumped out at them. "night love..." she mumbled, her tired eye-lids closing as she slipped into sleep.

Shaon slept through the night, making no moves or sound as she remained with him close to her.

Zy awoke and looked around, he could see fine in the dark. His eyes caught Shaon and he watched her as she slept. He looked so beautiful, but he still couldn't bring himself to love her just yet.

Zy looked at the water and then back at Shaon. Kublai isn't here. He told her in a whisper.

she relaxed slightly. "don't let him hurt Zy...." she mumbled in her sleep, thiking her was Jerick in her dream.

No. He told her in his normal voice as he laid back down. How could he love someone who was suicidal. How could he want someone who doesn't event want themselves. Zy stared up at the ceiling of the cavern.

A few minutes later, Shaon bolted awake, her hand to her head and bting her lower lip. "ow..." she looked around. "Where's jerick?" she blinked, her head had a funny feeling.

He's not here. He told her in a strong tone. He looked at the water. Jerick has been gone for some time now. Worry began to sink in. Zy sat up' looking at the water.
