GUH!
I want to find out who the hell owned those three Super Star Wars games and beat them all on Hard difficulty on the SNES so I can shake their hand.
I had it on normal difficulty and if it wasn't for me using save states I don't think I would have made it through. Then again, some of the levels felt like they had horrible coding, so I really don't know.

Most games were hard because of coding. And others just liked to be dicks like that to make games hard to beat.
