Yeah, I was playing it all last night. It's badass. I was afraid the guns would be retardedly overpowered, and in some ways they are, but they're still inaccurate as ******** so a conventional army can steamroll The State with proper tactics.

Yeah. Almost all the factions have some sort of guns anyways, so it balances out. Inaccuracy aside, they also take a loooong time to reload, so cavalry can just tear them up.
I do like using guns though. I think I have a flintlock, handcannon, and saber. The handcannon is a "unique" you can get after long battles.
If you aim right, you can take out like half a formation of pikemen. But I swear, it takes like a minute to reload it. But like all the guns, it's worth it to shoot some guy in the face and blast him off his horse.

Gotta say, though, running up against "Gun-Toting Bandits" early on is worse than just about any other faction's raiders.
With a strong frontline (pikemen work best for me so far), though, the gun troops can decimate the enemy a lot faster than archers ever could in vanilla M&B.
