My room mate had the same connection problem and Im certain it is because he skipped the beta key step.
Which, if by obscure little corner of the site you mean PLASTERED ON A LARGE BANNER AT THE TOP OF THE MAIN PAGE, then yes, I guess that's true.
At any rate, the Open Beta starts on Tuesday. Try again then. Rage and I are having a blast with just two players. It's gotta be insane with 4.

Nighthunter I'd prefer a free Sid Meier's Pirates for Pirate day tbh. Funny thing is, I still have that game. I was told to sell it on Ebay by a friend.

Eternal Dirge Funny thing is, I still have that game. I was told to sell it on Ebay by a friend. |Nice. That game is still awesome and pretty hard to come by. Despite the way outdated graphics, I've never seen anything that matches the game play.

It is still fun, except for the Damn crew getting all pissy half the time. I did pretty well, made all of the northern cities English cities.

Haha nice. Ah yeah I remembered that about the crew, I'd have like a decent sized fleet, capture a load of galleons, and they get pissy and leave. ><
And Matt, that's cause Mac's aren't really computers. =P
