To those who mentioned it:
Like most Korean MMOs that come here, our DFO is way behind in version updates. In the Korean version, they have gotten to the point where you can pick a gender for any class. You'll notice, if you can get the game to start, the gunner is actually denoted "Male Gunner", indicating we will be getting the same option eventually.
And DFO is a free game supported by microtransactions. What this means is that the game itself is free to play, but if you want to customize your experience, i.e., the look of your character, you gotta pay for it. Which can be done. Nexon Cash can be purchased for just such a purpose at your local Gamestop.

I've determined that electronics and technology breaks around me for no reason, assuming I claim ownership.

[Edit]
Also, from a very good friend of mine who works for a Korean MMO, and to supplement Silver's stance, a small portion of people put in a few bucks to Free to Play games. An average slice of people put about fifteen bucks into it, since that's the standard for MMO games. A small group will pay more than that.
And a very small section of people go completely batshit insane and dump hundreds or even thousands of dollars into the game each month.

I refuse to give Gaia any real money.
Which is probably why I'm stuck with old items.

Perfect.
I now have DarkSakura and DarkRage (because I'm an idiot and didn't think things through and didn't realize that characters in beta are carried over into the final release), Raxel, Gearshift, and of course...
Egar.

C. Fox I refuse to give Gaia any real money. This. Definately this. Though, art is a pretty good bartering system as long as you're willing to take the risks. And yours is really good, Fox.
