I read a single book... and then proceeded to burn the book in the parking lot of the barnes and noble I bought it at yes, not kidding, I got arrested for attempted arson, sat in jail for 6 days, and it was well worth it to watch the tales of edward cullen the disco ball vampire burn

Lol, props for standing for what you believe in. I myself find that principals tend to cause problems and create complicated situations. A general lack of principals works well for me. I don't say so to belittle those of you with principals. I just like to stay open in my opinions until I actually get involved in the issue.
I didn't read any of the twilight books. I saw the movie. I disliked it. I did find the dark-haired cullen girl attractive, even though she was a side-character. I left the film feeling unfulfilled, yet not unhappy. I remain a dissenter to the Twilight empire of fans, but not so much as to take action against the series.
