Kazuhiko shook his head. "Different." he explained. "Soul-energy. Not ki. Different kind of soul energy. Comes from his head." he sighed deeply. "I don't like it."

Kaguyo quickly rushed from the bed, hugging him tightly as she buried her head in his chest. "You won't." she whispered, clinging to him. "Gomen nasai, Aled-kun... I won't disobey you again. Please, just don't leave me... I hate being alone... I hate it..!"
She shivered, cold; she had half a mind to wrap herself in a sheet, but it would have taken too much time. She probably would have tripped.
"I'll be loyal. I swear, I'll be loyal even if the others kill you, I won't leave your side." she whispered. "Please, Aled-kun, don't leave me. Aishiteru. Aishiteru, Aled-kun, aishiteru...."

Morrigan nodded. "No wonder Kazu-kun was able to be born then." she mused. "Daemons and elves... we're probably more closely related than one might think."

"One day you'll see my world." Morrigan promised Ainsu. "We're not technologically advanced, not like your world... Not like Earth nowadays either."

Kazuhiko sighed deeply. "Try and have Mum e'splain, I don't think I can. Everyone has lotsa different energies...." he tried to elaborate, "Ki, and the soul..... the colors around them.... the different spirit-bodies.... One of those has a hole." he tried to explain. "He leaks."

Kaguyo nodded, snuggling close to him even with the blanket. "Wakarimasu..." she whispered, "Aishiteru, Aled-kun."
She sighed deeply with relief. She was just happy that she wasn't in danger anymore.
"I don't want to fight with you ever again..."

"You won't have to." Kaguyo promised, rubbing his hand with her thumb. "I'll be devoted... I swear it. You'll have no reason to hurt me at all."
She kissed his free hand, touching it to her cheek affectionately. "Sometimes you simply aren't yourself, though, Aled-kun.... it worries me." she whispered. "I don't want anything to happen to you."

Kazuhiko thought for a while. "Kinda." he answered after a while. "Like I said it's really hard to explain."

"Probably rather well." Morrigan answered. "I wonder what sorts of fae your planet has...?"

"You don't think it's odd you go from a murderous rage to a tranquil calm in less than three seconds?" Kaguyo whispered softly. "You used to be more level-headed, Aled-kun... controlled... I'm not saying that you aren't anymore, but you're starting to slip, and if you're to survive an attack from the others you need to be calm and collected. I'm not going to have you lose this." she sighed deeply, snuggling closer and nuzzling his chin.
She was immensely more timid now, however---like a little rabbit. It wasn't hard to spook her, but if things were alright she was calm, and appeared happy.
The next minute she got to speak to Watari, though..
No. No. She couldn't risk talking to him again. Aled must've suspected or seen something, been spying discreetly... To contact the other side would be treacherous.
But she still had to cover up the child. If anything gave her something to work towards, saving a possible child was one. She was already 27, nearly 28---she wasn't getting younger.
And if it was Ainsu's...
If she really WAS pregnant, after all....
It was one of those things she kept firmly in the back of her mind, hidden beneath her fear and immense cautiousness.

Kazuhiko nodded. "The color part isn't supposed to leak I think. C'mon! I'ma gonna ask her."
He scampered over to Morrigan just as she finished talking to Ainsu.
"Which would explain why Kazu-kun likes the Tree so much." she mused, holding her chin in her hand. "Konton... I don't even want to remember him, I think that was the only time I was actually terrified out of my wits. Would explain why Po-ar and I could have kids, too.... you know, that isn't necessarily very common in the universe."
"MUMMY!" Kazuhiko purred, pouncing her.
"Hi sweetheart! What's up?" Morrigan hugged and nuzzled him, and he smiled up at her.
"Why does someone's colors leak?"
She grew serious immediately. "Colors? Like the colors around a body? So you see those like I do."
"Of COURSE I do!" Kazuhiko giggled, rolling his eyes playfully. "Why wouldn't I? Doesn't everyone see those??"
"No, not everyone." she explained softly. "Someone's aura is leaking?"
"Aura? Is that what it's called? Yes, what does that do?" he frowned.
"Can manifest in a lot of ways. Hole in the aura. You're unable to contain your energy singularly unto yourself..." she explained, glancing up to Po-ar from time to time, "Sometimes you hear voices.... can be possessed... basically what humans know as schizophrenia and other assorted psychological disorders. Usually something traumatic has happened to the body or one of the many spirit bodies we contain. Your personal protection bubble is popped. People and spirits that wouldn't be able to get in otherwise can zip in as they please... In a way it's sorta like the hole in the ozone layer over Australia that was a problem up until a couple years ago. Before the planet had time to heal, there used to be a lot of stuff attacking and breaking the ozone away, kinda like the planet's aura. She had a hole that allowed all sorts of sunlight in that could burn you much easier than elsewhere. The energy comes in more intensely."
"That makes sense." Kazuhiko whispered, thinking it over and nodding. "So did the planet hear voices too??"
"No, silly, of course not." she smiled warmly. "But why did you ask?"

"Of course," Kitaria said. "It is only natural. How long is a typical trainign program, from teh first days of basic training to graduation?"

"Ther's the promblem,' Herne said sourly. "They keep coming back. As for the boy...he still is alive, a fact I wish to amend as swiftly as possible, though first we should kill his mother and keep the Fianna occupied and away from the boy."

Maeve nodded and continued to concentrate. Thom, however, started to freak out as he watched Maeve's form gradually change. Maeve lurched and fell back on teh bed, gaspign and reverting back to her true form, Thom curling around her protectively.

"It depends on the skill of the student." Itachi replied calmly. "Those who possess the right qualities advance quicker than those who lack the drive or power."

The Tarnb-jin Ouji shook his head, "I've tried that, Mor-chan. I doubt this leak is anything new... and the last time I tried, I very nearly died. He can detect me... fight me... I can't enter his head unless he allows it. I can't do it to anyone without their full consent."
"Besides, who would want to control him?" Ainsu asked. "I mean, no one in their right mind would pick a fight with Aled, let alone posses the man."

"Years." Aled replied softly, wrapping his arms around Kaguyo's waist, seeming to take comfort in the woman's trust and presence. "Since around the time that my first love stole Po-ar-kun away. I don't remember all of the event... but they gradually became worse and worse until now I find myself unable to escape from them."

"You failed to answer the question," Kitaria told him. "How many years does it take for a standard student?"

Fir shrugged. "Go for it, but if its still broken, Patch'll kill you."

Thom however, was shaking his head violently. He wrapped his arms around Maeve's waist and began draggin her across the bed and away. He was cracking.

"Well then how about you just find someone who isn't in their right mind. I can think of a war-hungry, blood-thirsty crazy b***h right now." Pixel poitned out, sauntering up to the group. "And who the hell let you in? It was the kid, wasn't it? Dammit, I'm going to kill Fir. No, I'm going to screw him so hard he's sore for a MONTH and then I'm going to kill him. F-ing up all my security. War is supposed to tighten these things, NOT lossen them."

"Her Korred pet," Herne nodded, "As for the iron-immunity, it is almost completed."

Kazuhiko looked up at Pixel and smiled. "I tightened up security." he answered her curtly. "And your sister said I have to look after you now! So I don't want to hear any more complaining out of your mouth, young lady," he floated up to eye-level, "Sync says you need to stop being so damn pessimistic and relax a bit. Being angry all the time lowers your IQ and you won't be able to think rationally and help us out. Cut it out Pixy-stick." he beamed.
The boy was earning his eery reputation already. "She loves you though."

Eara nodded a bit. "Good point...." she whispered. "Crap."
She glanced to Thom however, and decided it was worth trying.
With a quick exertion of magick, her arm and leg-cast came off. She had to keep the cast for the arm that was shattered, however.
Magick or not, that one was going to need time.
"Thom." Eara soothed him gently, lighting another of the cigarettes with her fingers and blowing the smoke into his face. "Inhale. Deep. Long, slow, deep inhalations."
She tossed one to Fir. "You might like this." she smirked slightly. "Faeries always grow the best herbs."
She continued to slowly exhale into Thom's face until he was almost back to normal.
Another half hour and he'd be gone again. Damn.

Kaguyo raised an eyebrow. "And you don't think there's some sort of connection, my dear??? I told you, this sort of thing isn't natural.... sweetheart, you need to be yourself again. What if you get one of these headaches when they attack?? Then what am I going to do?"
