Torment slowly fades in crouching upon the bar as if he were a gargoyle peering down over the edge of a high building to the streets below. His ashen grey hair hangs in his eyes, obstructing all vision except for his feet, and he almost seems to be asleep. His shirt is held together at his chest by only one of the middle buttons, ruffled as if he had just come in from a windstorm of sorts. The illusion that he might actually be sleeping is broken when he slowly looks up, whatever he had been doing interupted by his entrance into the Brink.

To say Torment was surprised was a bit of an understatement, moments ago he had been on one of the highest buildings he could find, and now he's suddenly under seige by a hyper blonde woman. He blinked a few times, a bit too stunned to push her off, "What the ********?"

It clicked, "Cora? Well now, you certainly look different, not to say I don't myself. Although I certainly don't look anything like my old man, well, since I last saw him anyway. Likely been a year or more. Seen you much more often than his old self. I'd ask what's up, but I think I'm about to fall off the back of the bar." He had been sliding back bit by bit, and he was on the edge with the lower half of his legs still in her deathgrip.

As she let go his slid to one side to hop off the bar, leaning against it to speak as her tried to get most of the hair out of his eyes, "Ok, you need to calm down before your brain overloads or something. I'm special, just not that special. Really don't need a braindead Cora on my conscience." He took a breath before begining, satisfied with his hair, for now, "As for you, you seem more casual, my hair is a combination of force of will and dyeing it this color. As mentioned I haven't seen pops in at least a year, maybe more. If I had to guess where he is I would more than likely be very very wrong. I've kept to myself for the past six months or so. Hell, I was in a coma in there somewhere, got married as well. We haven't had ourselves a proper honeymoon yet, but we will, eventually."

Tor smiled, "Have faith, you'll see him again, its only a matter of time. Heh, if pops heard me say that he'd either lecture me on the delicacies of time or be proud or somethi..." With that he was gone.

It's been forever since she managed to set foot into the Brink. There were plenty of things she'd missed, but she did catch a few glimpses of people who looked familiar.

"I wonder why it's always so quiet...?"

Tac slowly faded in sitting in one of the chairs facing the passageway to the rooms area, his eyes cast up towards the inky blackness that seemed to never end, a sight that wasn't too far off from what he had left behind. The dim illumination was an improvement to be sure, but it wasn't exactly the most welcome. After a full day's worth of darkness the return of his sight forced him to adjust rather quickly, so he simply continued to stare ever upwards. He was dressed in his usual attire, save for the fact that he was missing his holster, and more notably the items which gave that holster purpose.
