Reason I asked was because as some may know, Pokemon White/Black just released today. Which means that its only a matter of time before half the guild has it. I know Sai has it, I think Den has it, Im getting it tommrow and im sure that there is more who will or have already purchased it. So with the YGO going on + Pokemon. I just thought it would be nice to have a sub forum just for battles and duels etc.

I don't have my copy yet, but I know I'll be starting with an Oshawott that I'm probably going to name it Daikenki, after its evolution's japanese name

OMGGGGG.
Im getting black/white tomorrow. (Preferably white, because the black dragon is AMAZING. And the white one has a furry woo hoo :C )
I think a seperate mis subforum would be a great idea.

Im kinda torn as far as starters go. My natural affinity tells me to go with Oshawott, but my experience with Pokemon has taught me to always select the Fire Starter, because most of the pokemon games lack quality Fire Types in the wild.

My natural affinity tells me to go with Oshawott, but my experience with Pokemon has taught me to always select the Fire Starter, because most of the pokemon games lack quality Fire Types in the wild. the mix doesnt seem to bad this time around, considering its all new pokemon I wont spoil anything, but I'll tell you that you will get a fire pokemon a short ways into the game if you choose oshawott so there's hopefully nothing to fear lol

I find fire pokemon situational, I usually don't pick up any in my teams :s
Considering they are easy to take out and they don't have many strengths (only reason I like them is that they can take out ice pokemon.)

I love my blaziken. Just an awesome fire / fighter type. of course, its a starter type... but still, torchic was my fave starter for that set >w<
