ele360 The issue I had with DCUO was that it simply is terrible when it comes to certain basic yet core features of an MMO. For example, when an instance spawns with NPC's that (despite their level) can easily damn near kill you 1v1 your first instinct is. Ok, hit one of them and back away so I dont get ganged. Wrong, damn near every NPC is considered huminoid and because of which can communicate with each other, so if you aggro one you aggro them all. Then add in the fact that when you are flying above an NPC you can only actually strike them when you fly low enough to reach them. Mean while if you fly up really high, the nPC's have a sick a** melee range that can still hit you. Case in point: I was standing on top of a ******** hot dog cart swinging down. For some reason im up too high to reach them, yet they are kitting me constantly. Oh yeah and one more thing, NPC"s are all determined. So like, if you are partied up and you and a friend go try and stop a bank robbery. The NPCs start attacking your friend and hes about to die. There is NOTHING that you can do to make them stop attacking your friend except for stunning them (if you can) and killing them. Even if you are dealing sick amounts of damage to them, they will never change their target. (Now this is speaking for beta. So I could be wrong as to how it is actually playing now). Sounds like bugs mostly (ie a threat bug and range bug). The hot dog cart bit doesn't bother me to much as from playing COH/COV I've seen what happens when flying is exploited (Used to play a mastermind with flight, ie I call down my minions to fight and stay out of range of everything else without range). Though to be fair things had stuns and pulls that they'd use that would cancel flight and if you fell you did take falling damage so it was a risky trick. If they added the fall damage into it then that might not be as bad.

IN all Sense, I view DCUO, much like if not completely the same as "Hero City"
or whatever that Hero vs Villian Computer game is called for the PC. It's actually a copout due to not being able to Play "Actual DC Characters" as in it's key wording "Universe" attemps to collect all of the super heroes against villians type deal.
Reason why: You look at the DC & Marvel Universe RP guild that DBL is within, it practically is covered with every single "Universal Character" I think with that said DC has failed to bring out the full potential of the game in sense of not letting people have "Character Play capability" over good alliances and evil alliances. In the sense it's just like "Star Wars Old republic" and any other MMO, you get some dorky little Skin appearance and you run around trying to help the real "Heroes, Villians"
Usually DC and Marvel player games are outstaged by other games due to how they're made. Me personally The "Alliance" games were OKAY... but not the best plot nor game plays... and DC is pretty much from what I know not good either, I played the super man game and wow what s**t controls they made for the game.
I personally believe this is a attempt to rally up some more fans of "Their" online gaming style which isn't going to hold up to it's "Supposed abilities to create a huge Hero vs villian theme"
I think comic creators should just stick with a single game creation rather than trying to over achieve in MMO's...
Spider man games from marvel were awesome and good, but other than that anything else that comes with a "Group" effort of super heroes sucks.

*Steps forward* I haven't played Yugioh in forever. I should still have my cards and stuff around somewhere But I did play Magic the gathering last night. I did horrible and played defensively with a deck my friend called "MM SHOULD ATTACK MORE OFTEN BECAUSE ITS A GOOD DECK BUT YOU SUCK." deck. It didn't help that it was after a few jeigerbombs as well.
I should look for my cards after work tonight, I'm pretty sure I bought the 'water theme deck' ages ago and boosted it a bit. Has any of the rules changed since I played?
(Also, I posted DAYS ago guys :C )
