That is all VERY true. However, the secondary reason was that the abilities granted focused only on increases of strength and speed and had no real "ninja" factor to them. they were jsut enhancements to body ability and the bloodlines, though having multiple stages had no real Ninjutsu techniques within them, nor did they seem to mesh well with naruto.
...does the soul eating mesh well? not precisely, but at the very least, it has a ton of ninjutsu concepts. Is Bleach applicable? Much more so then anything else as Spirit Pressure and Reiatsu are easy concepts to bend to ninjutsu and ninjutsu techniques.
At least, those are my opinions on the matter.

WELL! When I had made the Hitokui clan, I had been planning to make a taijutsu specialist...which is why it deals with body enhancements :l Bleach, I would say is the most applicable, though one piece....idk what to even say about that one!

Not that Sai couldn't take down a dragon on his own... but I mean Dragons are pretty insane to allow as a summon. However, as normal, if i'm the only one that feels that way, I'll be quiet.

I dont see how summoning dragons make sense either.
Why in the hell would a big a** dragon do anything thing a human said.
If I was a dragon I wouldn't do s**t a ninja said I would just fly away and be all "Im a big a** dragon ******** you"
