Aled nodded, "Very well..." he replied, a tremendous amount of ki suddenly filling the room.
The Tarnb-jin's hair waved around him frantically, and it was only half of his normal power.
"I could kill you right here." he replied, grabbing Kaguyo by the front of her shirt. "I could watch as you were incinerated before my very eyes. It would be, regrettably, a painful process."

Kazuhiko rolled his eyes. "I got THREE rats!" he declared with a smile. "Auntie Eara's just waking up."
And indeed she was; she had taken a rather lengthy nap for a while, too exhausted to stay awake. When she saw Kazuhiko riding in on a dog with two rats on his shoulders and another atop his head, she could only smile warmly.
"Ah... So the little Prince of Thieves comes riding in. How are you little Kazu-kun?" she smiled, and the boy scrambled atop the bed to snuggle her, excitedly showing her his rats. "I see you have new friends!"
"Kintan, and Coco..." he named a rat and the dog. "Fir helped me pick them out! How do you feel?"
"Shitty." Eara answered before realizing what she said. "Oh thank gods your mother isn't here to hear that... Don't repeat it."
"Don't feel bad." he smiled. "She says worse when she doesn't think I'm listening."
Kaguyo smirked---she didn't seem phased. "You could, if you wanted to." she whispered, tracing her fingers over his chest. "You know you're sexy when you're mad."
She couldn't do a damn thing, but that didn't mean she had to be afraid. If Aled had wanted to kill her he would have done so already.
No, Aled just didn't want to be alone. That was all.
It was a sentiment she could understand.

Anger flashed in the Ou's eyes. Quickly his ki raised, almost to the point that it would catch Kaguyo aflame.
But mere moments before that could happen, though she would feel the heat and pain of what was to come, his ki suddenly died.
"Kisama..." Aled whispered, letting go of Kaguyo and turning away from her. "Get out of my sight."

Kaguyo narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. "Iie, I won't." she refused stubbornly. She came up behind him, gently wrapping her arms around his stomach as she rested her head on his back. "I'm sorry, Aled-kun... I simply had to test my grounds. The fact I'm still alive convinces me that you're sincere... I won't betray you again, Aled-kun. I won't leave you alone, ever again."
She kissed his back, sighing softly as she squeezed him. "Aishiteru, Aled-kun."
The strange thing is that she remained completely open when she spoke---try as he might, he couldn't find a single word of doubt, hesitation or deception in anything she said.
"Aishiteru, Aled-kun."

For a long time, Aled said nothing.
When he finally did speak, his voice was quite, though not comforting nor cold.
"And yet you find fit to test me over and over again." he replied. "What happens if one of these days, I don't stop, Kaguyo? What if I had killed you?"

"Fabulous," Fir said. "Little Rose, I'm goign to need your help again, Don't worry, non contact sort of mission. At least I think so. Anyway, the Wonder Twins left got bloodied up, came back and now they say they need to speak with both of us. Well, Maeve does. From what I hear the boy's all messed up in his mind."

"Well then you would have regretted it the minute you saw the look on my face." Kaguyo answered, nuzzling his back. "I had to test you. We've both broken eachothers' trust so many times Aled-kun----what else would you expect? And like I said, I think you're sexy when you're mad..." she smiled. "Power in a man... impulsive decisions.. All of those things are immensely attractive to me. You're smart, strong... I'm protected with you. I don't have to worry anymore. Besides, you love me too, right?" she bit her lip. "At least I'd hope you would, given all the patience you've had with me... If this was just so you could trap the others..." she sighed, "Well, I would be disappointed to say the least."
Eara nodded. "Send them in." she frowned. "How did they get hurt??"

Kaguyo rested her chin on his chest, smiling. "Well... It's certainly not settled by any means, but at least it's never boring." she closed her eyes, nuzzling him. "I thought you were attracted to women who weren't afraid of you."

"Ask your nephew," Fir said helpless. "It seems he knows everything. Actually I was wondering if we could move you to their private room. I think this is a matter that should probably be kept within tight walls, if you get my meaning and apparently the boy's not in a state to be moved anywhere."

At this however, Itachi shook her head. "I don't understand..." she said in confusion. "I doubt his son knows any more about him, but then again, you must already know that since you and Po-ar-sama are on the same side."

Kazuhiko sighed. "Badb!" he answered.
Eara frowned, immediately trying to sit up before grimacing and cursing. "G...G'damn..." she seethed before glaring at a fixed point on the wall. "Let's go now." she glanced over at Fir, absolutely serious. She was grim about this situation. "They have to learn, and quick."
It hurt like hell to use her arms, so she did most of her adjusting with her leg until she was sitting on the edge of the bed. Kazuhiko helped, naturally. "I had a bad feeling about that fight... Damnit, damnit!"
She was trying to stand now, limping heavily from the cast on her leg. "Alright. Let's go."
"Eara's hardcore." Kazuhiko teased her with a smile, hopping on Coco. "Let's go. I'll help."
Kaguyo smiled. "Well, you called my bluff true enough." she whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I tried my best to fool you otherwise, but I didn't do very well, did I?"

"Hang on, Little Rose," Fir said gently, setting up a wheelchair and carefully seating the woman in it. "Alright, let's go then."
He wheeled the woman to the twins' room and unlocked. Thom's violin was on the ground, lying halfway out if its case. Sheet music was spread all about the room. As for the twins themselves, Maeve was sitting on the bed, crying silently with a black eye and a cut lip and Thom was lying with his head in her lap, wide, unfocused eyes and a death grip on his sister's hand looking twice as bad. They had been cleanned up, but some evidence of their fight still remained.

Itachi nodded, "She was his general." the assassin replied. "Though few on Tarnbsei knew their sibling connection. I assume it made her betrayal harder for Aled-sama to bear."
