I guess it would enhance his high if it was engineered to do something other than take his mind, as drugs are engineered to give you a boost or calm you down. But if it's something specifically tailored to control him in the quick way that truth serum makes you want to explore your feelings...

Cranial CPU shut down would instantly take effect as the actual mind would be taken over due to the drug. Fail safe Dzan's worked into it so he doesn't fry his own circuits with heightened brain activity due to speed or what not. xd
