Zetsuei said as he held out his hand at Maki

"Ill take you to him."

Shinja smirked before his face fell flat into the dirt below him. He was completely drained of the power source he relied so much on, and yet, he was happy. The thing that had tormented him for so long was finally gone. Now, Shinja could do nothing but smile as he, for the first time in almost a year, slept without a single worry in his mind. Aisis...my love...

"Ill let you all catch up Maki, it doesnt seem im trusted too much around here. Ill be around when you need me once more"

Zetsuei said as he took a step and vanished, the temple doors slamming back shut.

katrea was shocked by it all this and he could only stop Joan from stepping in and making a mess of all the others hard work. but then the chaos quelled and the room calmed. katrea let go of the frantic Joan and she ran over to maki hugging her with a strong grip. katrea walked over to the pod remains, the carpet was stained with a purple ooze.

katrea looked at it and watched it sink into the floor, then he got a flash of something in his mind. it was odd like a purpled ooze seeping from his eye, ooze just like the substance on the floor.

he then walked over to the ash on the floor and went to place his hand in it but stopped himself and stood up. he walked over and took some flowers from a vase and pored the water on the floor and then went back to the ash. He swiped the ash in and held it close.

"a phoenix. did i know you too?"

he looked over at maki.

"you new my name i will have to speak to you later maam"

katrea walked out with the ashes. he walked into the chapel hall and headed over to the west tower it was one of the tallest in the castle looking over the mighty hill tops. up the spiral stairs. he walked to a window, the sea air hit him even though he was so far way from the shore. looking out he was close to crying.

"i have messed up my story it seems and war will be here soon."

he poured the ash into the air and it scattered over the land with a beautiful shine.

"this is all i can do stranger ... no phoenix. let the gods hold you, in the same way i would some day like to rest."

Squirm looked up at the site he had seen before, it hadnt changed. he had never stepped foot inside but from the outside it always looked amazing even with the rubble. he wondered what could have started this, was it truly the start of a war.

stepping up to the gates he pulled his hood tighter over his face as he scuttled past the guards getting some strange looks then one grabed his cape by the neck throttling him slightly as they lifted him and shook his hood of.

"get out of here beast. we dont want fiends wondering in on are secret land with their filth"

squirm wriggled about in his grip waving his legs and tail about as they dangled. the guard then threw squirm away to the ground in a heap.

"dont even attempt to get in here monster!"

squirm just lay there looking up with a saddened expression and a frown as he stared down.

Katrea took one final glance out to the open landscape and the ashes that gleamed in the strong wind before turning and heading back down the stairs, his walk down took him longer as he thought over all that had happened.

he opened the creaky door to the tower and let it shut behind him, the streets were back to normal now and you could see workers heading over to the grand wall. it wouldn't be long now and the wall would be finished, hopefully before the war became to chaotic.



Joan wiped the tears from her cheeks before siting up right in a more civilized position, her eyes met with makis and she began to tell her what she new.

"im not sure if katrea had any differences with this Zetsuei but some strange things have been happening that are hard to believe, i think katrea became a bit irritated at all this mention of his past. he cant seem to remember any of it himself, he can barely remember kyana."
